this is so wonderful! I really enjoyed it it made me feeeeeel things (positive things)

I want to say that I’m never going to try something like that in one week ever again (given how much it took out of me……) but also I know me and I’m ravenous for that kind of insanity and I absolutely will do if I get another alignment of a quiet week at work

I talked to a bunch of my artist friends about that whole desire to be seen thing and yeah they were like I get it and then I read this guy from 1800 years ago and like he gets it too and I just find that really interesting. Everyone wants to be known, to make ourselves real by being witnessed by each other. I almost feel like I want to write more about this idea but I’ve maybe already written too much

it has been so much fun! so much fun to take part in creativity and also just so much fun to see all the creativity from everyone else. I’m really glad you decided to run this jam and I’m really happy that I decided to join too. so big thanks for that!

I’ve got a plan

the plan is not actually just a camera review, that’s the trick to lure people in then it’ll turn out to be about something

sort of tempted to also just switch from using english half way through as like a linguistic jumpscare (but also I do want my friends to be able to read it so maybe not)

Was so great to see and play all the VNs that have come out of this jam! Feels really good to have been part of this and surrounded by all this cool and creative stuff. I’ve written a little about some of my favourite entries in my long and weird post mortem post on my website (you don’t have to read the whole thing, it is maybe too much), but really I have loved playing every one of the games and it has been so much fun to see them all come in to existence!

I’m looking forward to seeing what we all get up to in the future. I guess in a few weeks there’s the decker fantasy party, so I’ll probably need to think of something to do something for that too.

I saw this children’s toy digital camera in a shop and it was pink and I thought like oh that’s a great idea for the pink jam! I’ve spent the last couple of weeks taking pictures of everything with this stupid camera that plays an annoying song every time I use it and I’m looking through all these pictures and I haven’t worked out yet what I’m actually going to do with them…

Maybe like a photo diary? Or a poem with pictures? A guide to the city bus network? I have no idea yet lol
