nah it'll never catch on (hyraxes are expensive)

This is probably the best and most unsettling concept I've seen for this jam. Reminds me of both QWOP and Who's Lila?. Very impressive that this came together in four days!

No worries, it happens! Guess it's more of a hang than a softlock as I could still control the camera but not do anything else. I wasn't able to replicate it, but it was during a run after both Susans had collided but before a failstate and outside the setup phase, so the Retry button wasn't present. This game is great though, like an Overcooked solitaire. GO SUSAN

The atmosphere is fantastic.

I enjoyed this a lot! But when will it hit the corners...

this is fantastic and already feels like a finished game! unfortunately I did get a freeze in the third area. I also think some rebalancing would probably be needed for a full release since it feels quite easy to become overpowered

(1 edit)

In the absence of remappable controls, probably lateral movement on A+D/left-right with an auto-dash or auto-jump up on W/up that steers with the lateral controls, and the other option of jump/dash on both Shift keys or Q so it can be played one-handed? Just thinking out loud though.

I think what got me is feeling like W should Go Up, but the most up-going is dashing and you want to be doing a lot of dashing. So it feels like you're presented with 3 options for Up, one of which you're never gonna use.

I got a softlock after burning a dish with two gone Susans but I also laughed and the softlock itself was funny, so hell yeah

Any game with sliding whoosh doors gets a thumbs up from me

Nice and cleanly executed! My highest streak is 7. I'm playing on a 1080p monitor and had to de-zoom my browser to let the game frame fit though.

Simple and fun, nice one! Feels good to get the timer speed up.

let loose the cods of war (the music is very satisfying)

Neat concept! I would like to see a version of this with stronger theming and progression.

This is beautiful and has legs for a full game! I don't really vibe with the control scheme and find it unintuitive, but that's easily fixed. I would probably also open with the tutorial.

I can't believe you based this game on my household in particular (I started my new grad job literally today)

This is so fun and has such a great visual style! Is Sir Jumpsalot's headgear a bucket with some duct tape on it?

This is the noble and cool way (thank you for playing!)

Thank you for playing!

these things happen, the concept is still pretty neat!

This is such a cool idea! The art looks really cohesive for being put together in a short amount of time.

Thanks for playing! We put in difficulty grades as you answer more questions, so the "easiest" stuff comes first - my personal record is 90 out of 99, but then again I wrote half of them!

unfortunately I seem to be completely unable to move, the timer loads and ticks

I wonder if the (fire emoji required) would be included when your game gets featured... Cool stuff, I think it has legs as a finished product!

Neat! I have to say I got what I expected from Game Where You Play Cards And Get Rules And Try Not To Lose Your Cards.

Oh this is gorgeous! Thank you!

Really cool!

Extremely relatable to go to the pub instead of programming (we spent a night playing board games and petting a Samoyed). Felt oddly compelled to listen to the entire voiceover so this has ended up being the longest I've spent with a single game so far.

I managed to breeze through some of the gathering segments, but the style is fantastic! My apologies for the pool party charcuterie grieving event

I got to the bottom on my first try. Nice!

hah yeah this is so good

unfortunately seemed to break completely, I shot a bunch of enemies and then clicked End Wave several times and won

I regret to inform I have planned a poor event. But at least there's charcuterie!
