holy peak, oh my fucking god
Even though I lead a much more(-ish) comfortable life - physically/materially - than Ember ever did, I can relate to both main characters, as within them, and as outwards of them. How they feel on the inside and what they express on the outside. also inward desires/outward desires? I don't fucking know
the beginning part where Millicent tried to care for Ember reminded me of a quote/saying that goes something like "you cannot make someone love you by loving them harder"!
also "live-in-girlfriend-dog" was kinda funny and the more technical/meta parts with uppercase names/name colors changing were pretty damn good too. It tells the story in a way only the inclusion of elements like these can.
