Hey thank you so much for playing and making this video, it was really fun to watch!

Love to hear it!

Thanks for the lovely feedback, glad you enjoyed the game!

Happy to hear any feedback, I’ve just added the server to the description, here’s a link: https://discord.gg/cQnXFa7fVq

Logs aren’t a gameplay feature I’m not even sure why you’re seeing them. None of the logs are problematic or showing issues that are game breaking, they’re just debug logs. This discussion might best had in our discord.

(1 edit)

From what I can tell, the first error was unrelated, and it can actually recover from that, but the second error “LLVM ERROR” is a linux driver issue, and I doubt there’s anything I can do about it. Try updating your graphics drivers!

Hi thank you so much for reporting the error and including your log! I’m sorry to hear about your PC. I’m going to look into this issue now and see if I can solve it, though even if I do I’m doubtful the game will run very well on your laptop. Maybe we can find out.

Hi thanks for letting me know about the issue, I’d love to be able to fix it. Could you give me some information on your computer, and include a screenshot of the issue? It would help to know your operating system, and details on your hardware to help narrow down the cause.

That’s great to hear, exactly what seasons were meant to do. Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the feedback.

Thanks for the feedback and for playing!

Thanks for the awesome feedback, I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks! I really appreciate you coming over and checking it out, that means a lot to me. I’m glad you enjoyed the game!

Pretty much, yeah

I enjoyed this, Conways is fun and mixing it into an idler is a neat concept. Here’s some feedback:

  • Reset also resetting my upgrades is counter-intuitive and senseless. Make it just reset the grid
  • The ticks are a bit slow even at higher upgrades, I made some cool ships I want to see them moving
  • It would be really cool to have more upgrade types
  • The auto-spawner was kind of just annoying, it kept ruining my patterns and I didn’t find it helpful, it’s maybe best for idling, but it would maybe be helpful if it spawned useful patterns.
  • It would be really helpful if I could see the patterns I unlocked to re-use them (scope creep: let me paste them in)
  • When I click and drag, it would be nice if it kept the “mode” I was in, so that if I click a living cell first, it only erases living cells until I release the mouse
  • I went afk for a bit and it was frozen when I got back, and I’d lost all my progress 😭

Hi Sam, thanks for the feedback, would love to chat.

Oh wow thank you so much for taking the time to play my little creepy claw game, and for writing such a lovely review. I especially loved your video review on youtube as it has some banger quotes:

"Was really interesting that a claw game could be this creepy"

"Honestly this is a weird game"

Seriously thank you so much!

Oh my gosh that is incredibly kind and inspiring. Thank you.

These bugs are now fixed

Thanks for playing, and the lovely feedback. Thanks also for the bug reports, I'll take a look at these now. It's odd that it won't relaunch, I wonder if resetting the save data failed and actually corrupted your save. You might need to manually delete the save data.

This is called affine texture mapping and was a thing on the psx, I have possibly implemented it wrong as it's very strong in some places.

This game gave me anxiety

Wonderful, the physics on the hair is lovely!

I'm glad you liked the changes! Thank you for the positive review score!

Good, these are good feelings.

I've just put out a version with audio, would love for you to try it again!

Oh my gosh thank you so much for the wonderful feedback and for recording your playthrough!

There is unfortunately no sound in this version, as my goal was to keep scope as limited as possible. I do however plan to keep working on it, and sound will be one of my next goals.

It's feedback like this which really excites me to keep working on the game, thank you so much.

Hey thanks for the feedback, there are varying difficulties depending on the rarity and quality of the plush you get. You need to buy upgrades before seeing the higher harder ones.

Ah good call, thanks, this is done now
