For your point, yeah, that might've been a missight of mine. I meant the first 3 girls as side-characters only as they really don't have any romantic relationships with Charlie since he's gonna get his own later and him being a bystander is basically allowing players to see their [as in Ruth, Joan, and 3rd girl] relationships prosper through another character's perspective thus giving that NTR-like feel but is really still vanilla cause they weren't taken from Charlie and it's just them finding their own partners, and by "cementing this game as vanilla next update", I meant that as Charlie meeting one of his own heroines later on to be his partner for V2.0 marking the primary girls as side characters since they're only gonna be present for the 1st half of the game.
Your comment though put it for me clearly that I'm trying to attract some very specific audience in 1 game with 2 opposing niches, so addendum to my plan is I might just separate V2.0 entirely to a different game still with Charlie and his would-be heroine present since Constantin so it would be Constantin = NTR people, [Constantin sequel] = vanilla/harem people.
"Why not just make the 2 games different entirely, as in Charlie only as bystander in Constantin and a different mc for your 2nd game?": It's cause I have a long ass progression planned to set the dynamic for Charlie's relationship with his 1st girl and making that as the first good part of a game, meaning no sex, seems long and boring for me so instead, I'm squeezing it in the middle of Constantin, to not bore my viewers and basically hitting 2 stones with 1 bird.
"If V2.0 is gonna be Charlie with his own harem then, why not just include the development for the other girls alongside [Charlie's 1st girl] so the first parts of that game need not feel empty?": Well, Charlie is supposed to meet the other girls later to flag that arc of his life as new and livelier but his familiarity with his first girl is what's gonna make their dynamic special, so you'd understand on why they need to spend a significant amount of time by themselves first.
