Buying upgrades was really addicting, but the downside is the longer the game went on the worse my frame rate got, maybe varying enemy types instead of just adding more could help, then you could add stronger enemies not just more enemies on screen. Either way had a good time playing.

Great entry died on my first 2 runs but finally made it. For the events that would pop-up the result did feel like it was a dice throw so kind of didn't enjoy them as there was also no real reward when things went right or neutral.

The controls just really didn't work with a trackpad I couldn't  pan around  at all. Luckily there was a way to enter toggle mode with a keystroke. The vibe was nice and relaxing though. With more creatures and biome it would be a fun walking simulator where you have to collect photos of each animal in the biome. With many options to extend the gameplay. Good job on your entry.

Thank you for playing and letting me know what you think..much appreciated. Also yeah happy to be here and to actually finish something! I'll be back!

Honestly for all those who went for the Acapella wild card I have been impressed. It was a cool little slice and would have loved to see what it looked like with more content. Keep it up, hope to see a submission from you in the next one.

Thank you. I wish there was more I could flesh out as some mentioned in their comments but glad to have had something to submit.

Yeah for the most part the items and the explorer needs are being selected mostly at random, I wish I had more time to address that, mostly just glad I got it working and submitted in time. Would really need to address the balancing. But thank you for giving it a try.

The controls were punishing and was really hard to control the van especially when the trees got very dense. The sounds for the acapella wild card were fun. The camera transition in the menu screen was nice.

For the amount of time we had this is really impressive and felt like a complete game for the most part, more content and balancing is all I felt like this needed. Really enjoyed the dice mechanic for combat and the voice acting and sound effects were nice as well. Great job! Also whoever did your art was working, that is so much to have to do in such a short period of time.

The audio was fun and fit the vibe without being too distracting, so nice get on the acapella wildcard. The drink effects make it feel a lot less random and that there is a vague strategy to it. More dice and combinations could be fun.

The scaling was off when played in full-screen, and had a hard time figuring out if i was playing it correctly as there was little feedback on if i actually hit the boat or not. But the art and the sound was really fun. Took a second to realize I could flip between the camera but that's mostly because i didn't even notice the buttons at first due to the scaling being off.

Enjoyed this. So far the best application of the Acapella wildcard. Nice atmosphere and a good amount of levels given the time.

I had never played NYT Connections but thanks for mentioning it. It's a fun little word game.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks for the feedback, yeah I see how that would be a good way to give the needed feedback.

I really struggled with balancing, and if i had more time I would have worked on that some more. This is my first game without using a tutorial so having to think about how to balance it was new to me and something I will keep in mind more for next time.

The sprite for the racoon was so smooth. well done!

Overall enjoyed the game and started to really try to figure out a strategy for where I would buy/sell what.

The drag and drop was sometimes a little glitchy requiring me to drag something a couple times before it stuck. Then I figured out it had to be in the exact right spot. Maybe adding an alternate control like right click would be a nice quality of life upgrade.

Hey yeah that would be cool too. I struggled including the tags for each item. I wasn't sure if that would make it too easy. Thanks for the feedback!

Well polished and fun little runner.

Oh cool, will give it a try with that then.

I also took a shop angle. This was a treat to play.

Sometimes the other adventurer's would get stuck and once i got stuck but was not able to replicate it, but it might have something to do with how my other player was stuck. causing me to get locked up.

Unable to access your game.

I will have to come back and try this when I am not on my laptop. The controls are really tricky with a trackpad, and doesn't help I generally do not have the stamina for these rage games. The art and background sound was nice though.

What are the file types?

So what's everyone's experience like?

I am a complete newbie, and really just in this as a hobby. Would love to hear from the rest of you!

Great game played it like 3 times at least. The camera controls interfere with the game a bit so if you ever do an update that would be something to address. But otherwise real fun and addictive to play
