The game looks very nice, it’s clearly visible that a lot of effort was put into the art and overall presentation.

For me the gameplay felt quite short since there is only one simple level, so I would love to see more content or challenge if you continue working on it.

About the theme, I personally wasn’t sure how strongly it connects, since the goal seemed to be saving everyone and it was possible to do so.

I also understand that time management during a game jam is always difficult, so it’s totally normal that some parts end up smaller than planned.

Still, it’s a clean and pleasant entry visually. Good luck in the jam!

Those stories felt very detailed. I honestly didn’t expect myself to open every file and read almost everything… but I got really drawn into the plots.

I feel like the hardest part of this project wasn’t the technical implementation, but coming up with the whole idea and writing all those stories and that’s really cool. The mechanics are quite simple, but combined with the narrative and decision-making (even if the choices are predefined) it creates a very engaging experience.

The OS realisation felt perfect. It just feels good and “right” to use. For some reason I kept hoping there would be a hidden feature that lets you zip the important files together so you could save more of them. If that secret actually existed, I would be extremely surprised and happy)

This is a good entry.
And special shout-out to you as a boulder too :))

This was my best attempt 😄

The game was really fun to play. I especially liked that each animal has its own behaviour - it opens up a lot of cool strategic possibilities for how you place them. It wasn’t just fun, it was genuinely interesting and engaging.

The controls felt a bit uncomfortable at times, but I could still reach the destinations I wanted. And honestly… difficult movement is understandable - it’s my first time driving a UFO after all 👽

The theme is handled very well.

The graphics are simple, but that’s totally fine for such a short jam. I’m sure with some extra polish and visual upgrades this could become a really cool project.

Very good job!

First of all - if I understood correctly that this game was made by a married couple… this is adorable 😄 seriously, that’s very cool.

And overall, I liked the game a lot. I’ll be honest - at the very beginning I struggled and couldn’t finish any meals, so at first I wasn’t fully sold on it. But after reading some comments I realized the balancing was a known issue during the jam, which is totally understandable. I ended up solving it by investing all my starting money into increasing the number of food slots so I could survive the first days.

After that, I genuinely had a lot of fun. I even played it together with my friends and for all of us it became one of the most engaging entries we tried so far.

Also the art is very, very cool - huge shout-out to the artist! 🔥

If I could suggest one small technical thing, it would be to keep pixel-per-unit values consistent when drawing and importing assets into Unity. That usually helps everything keep the same pixel scale and makes the visuals feel even cleaner.

Another tiny usability wish - it would be nice to see what ingredient types can replace each other directly in the menu, somewhere near the available ingredients. Not a big issue at all, just a small quality-of-life idea.

Thanks for the cool entry, I really enjoyed playing it. Good luck!

I planned to stack them and squish to the ceiling - so car will not touch anyone, but it didn't work

Thanks for playing, happy you enjoyed the stressful fun 😄

Yeah, the shop buttons are a bit too easy to miss. I’d definitely make them clearer with more polish time. And haha thanks for reporting the failure % bug, I’ll look into that, but in a meantime enjoy your job!

Glad you liked the graphics and music (music is not mine but anyway thanks)!!

Thanks a lot for playing 🙂

Glad you liked the idea of leaving cars around the city. That was the idea, to force players to "invent" manual patrol. And yeah, the UI being small is totally fair, I realized that only after the jam

Really appreciate the feedback!

Oh noooo, that was so close, just 1%! Still, great job, Operator! 31% is already solid!

Honestly, during game jams I often look forward to reading reviews even more than the final results (especially yours 🙂), because feedback from fellow dev-players is incredibly valuable. Thank you so much for taking the time to play and write such a detailed and kind review - I’m really happy you enjoyed the game!

Also thanks a lot for pointing out the possibility of assigning multiple units to one emergency. I actually balanced the game around that idea at first, but later reduced the stress level a bit and totally forgot to clearly mention it anywhere 😅 I’ll update the page right away.

And yes - forcing units to return to the station was intentional. I wanted players to think more about optimisation and kind of create their own “manual patrol routes”.

Good catch on the cars stopping sometimes - I haven’t noticed that yet, so I’ll definitely look into it. And haha about the ambulance parking at the fire station… yeah, I didn’t filter station types, but as long as there are free spots it kinda works :)

Also thanks for the kind words about the graphics! It was actually my first time making a pixel-art city environment, so I wasn’t sure how it would feel. Audio is still a big learning area for me - jam survival mode = searching for free sounds

Thanks again for playing and for the super nice feedback — really appreciate it!

This game was intense, not gonna lie. I really tried my best to protect them, but… the coyotes were stronger than me, and the sheep honestly seemed like they wanted to die sometimes.

The upgrades are cool, the idea is funny, and the implementation feels great. I genuinely had a lot of fun playing.

At some point I ended up buying four fountains and just focused on protecting the last remaining sheep — he basically became the Mr. Sheep President XD

Also, I really liked the mechanic where you can refill the fountains. Nice touch.

Good job, I enjoyed it!

We have something in common))

That’s very stylish! I really liked the atmosphere!! I was also genuinely impressed by the text style 😄 The visuals overall feel very clean and polished.

The audio part is great too. Good music and solid SFX. But the minion sounds…😆 I was laughing the whole time. Did you record them yourselve or find them somewhere? I actually played the game together with friends and we all enjoyed those sounds a lot.

For me, the gameplay felt a bit too simple. Most levels weren’t very challenging and had quite a similar structure, so after a while it felt like you could just activate things without needing to think too much. I’d personally love to see more variation or mechanics that require a bit more strategy.

I also ran into a few small bugs. Sometimes minions of different colors seemed to collide with obstacles they probably shouldn’t interact with. I know this kind of layering / interaction logic can be tricky to implement during a jam, but I just wanted to mention it.

One more question, about the crates. There are black crates (which I assume are meant for the player), and colored ones. Is the player supposed to be able to interact with the colored crates as well, or only with the black ones?

Overall, this is a very stylish and polished entry.

Good job!

I saved them all!!!! …until the last level 😄 I really tried to save them there too, but I just couldn’t. Well done!

I liked the game a lot. The implementation feels clean, the sounds fit the vibe nicely, and the graphics work really well too. The gameplay is intuitive and user-friendly, so it was easy to get into.

Also, the way you handled the theme in the last level was great hahaha!
By the way, is there actually a way to save them there?

For me, stacking the dolls on top of each other to move them together worked really well as a little strategy.

Overall, a very good entry ! I had a lot of fun. Good job!

Yep) I did)

Yeah, unfortunately I didn’t add anything in-game to guide the player during the jam 😅 But I’ve updated the game page now, so at least there are some instructions on how to play. Sorry for not providing that earlier!

And yeah, you’re totally right about the UI — it’s way too small. I only really noticed it after the deadline when my friends tried the game and couldn’t find the shop button at first.

I really wish I had more time to polish things and add more SFX and small details.

Thanks a lot for playing and for the feedback!!! I really appreciate it 🙂

It’s FUN! I really liked it. The gameplay, visuals, and upgrade tree are all very solid.

You definitely can’t save them all… but unfortunately you also can’t save anyone, since everyone dies in the end 😅 I’d love to have some kind of option to escape or leave with at least a few survivors.

Overall, I think this is a very cool entry!

I did encounter a bug though - at some point the waves stopped spawning. In most of my runs there was only one dude chasing me and nothing else happened. Also, in my first playthrough I tried to let them all die around the 10 minute mark, but 11 people seemed to disappear somewhere, so I couldn’t finish the round (that was a bit sad).

I also noticed a small exploit that lets the player survive much longer than intended))) The game also started lagging quite a bit when a lot of dudes were spawned on the map.

But yeah - I really enjoyed it overall.

Good luck! 🎮

I have a water allergy!!!! Was that an Easter egg just for me? 😄

Nothing much really happened during the gameplay, but I understood the idea and I think it’s a good one. It actually reminded me of Lapse: A Forgotten Future, which I liked a lot.

I’m still not completely sure who actually “wins” in the end. You constantly have to choose, so I guess it fits the theme. Although personally I’d say the theme here feels more like “You can’t kill them all” 😆

I’d really love to see what this project could become if you continue working on it.

Good luck!

Thanks so much for the review! I totally agree — more sound effects would really help bring things to life, especially when feeding the machine. Unfortunately, I just ran out of time on that front.

And yes, a scoreboard is definitely something this kind of game needs. I haven’t worked with any of the easy to implement leaderboard systems yet, so I skipped it for this jam, but it’s high on the list if I ever polish it up post-jam.

Really glad to hear you found the fun factor high — I honestly wasn’t sure how it would land, so that means a lot. And I’m happy you liked the way the tutorial is built into the menu — that was one of the small things I hoped would click with players. Thanks again for playing and for the thoughtful feedback!

The music reminded me of some OSTs from Baki the Grappler, which gave me a calm, nostalgic feeling right away. I really liked the movement and mechanics—this is a well-made puzzle platformer from top to bottom. The visuals are pleasant and cute, which adds a lot to the experience. Nicely done!

The only small issue I noticed was with the control tips—it says Q is for interaction, but in reality it's E, and Q is for placing the blocks. Just a minor mistake, though. Overall, as I said, it's a cool and impressive piece of work!

I love this kind of game—really cool idea! The visuals stood out to me too: minimalistic black and white, which I personally really enjoy. Overall, it’s fun and something I’d definitely play more of. That said, I’m not entirely sure how well it fits the theme.

If I understand correctly, this is a submission for three jams at once. I assume you tried to meet the requirements for all of them, which is ambitious—but to be honest, I don't think much of it is working in its current state. I was only able to walk around, and that seemed to be it.

The orca and hedgehog characters reminded me of something out of 12 oz. Mouse (not sure if that was intentional), but I really liked them! Overall, the game is good—some polish would definitely help, but the core idea works. I was a bit confused when more clowns started spawning—wasn't sure if that was a bug or part of the design.

I'm sorry to see you weren't able to finish the game—I've been in that situation during a past jam, so I know how frustrating it can be. That said, don't be discouraged! Participating at all is already an achievement, and each jam is a valuable learning experience. Best of luck next time—looking forward to seeing what you create!

Thank you so much. I'm really glad the granny scream made you laugh, that was actually one of the first things I added, and it kind of set the tone for the rest of the project. You're absolutely right about the sound effects. I ran out of time near the end and couldn't quite find the right sounds for things like the grinding and grabbing. It's definitely something I'd like to improve in the future.

Yeah, I was actually thinking about adding larger objects that you'd have to break down into smaller parts, or even the ability to grind the hand or the grinder itself. But yeah, time got the better of me. And for the object variety — honestly, I thought I'd have time to draw more of them. They only take about five minutes each, so I left that for the end and, well... didn't get to it.

Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback, and best of luck with your own submission! Really appreciate you taking the time to play and comment!!!

Thanks for the review! Yeah, I am really proud of the hand movement. Not gonna lie, i wasted almost a full day of jam just because i was distracted by the arm, i just played with it.

Anyway, thanks again! And Good Luck!!!

Hi, sorry for not providing the clear tutorial. You need to grab the play button with the arm and drop into the grinder to start.

Hey! Thanks a lot! Yeah, I do really like the idea, so I am definitely going to finish it in a near future. I will punch you then!

Thanks a lot! Just didn't manage time we'll because of the work(((

Nice arcade game! I really like the style—you did a great job with both the graphics and the music. I found it much easier to avoid enemies than to shoot them, as the movement didn’t feel well-suited for combat. The power-ups were a bit unusual, but overall, it looks good. Great job!

Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed the concept! Haha, getting stuck under the box can definitely be tricky—I'll look into making that part smoother. Appreciate the feedback!

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed the 2D/3D concept and the transition! It was definitely a challenge to get everything done in 10 days, so I really appreciate the kind words. Means a lot!

Thank you so much for the feedback! I really appreciate your thoughts on the movement, and I agree that resetting momentum during dimension switches could make things smoother. I’ll definitely work on that and tweak the friction. I’m glad you enjoyed the puzzles! I checked out Parallels, and it's really similar. I really enjoyed it! It's always cool to see how others approach a similar concept.

Thank you so much! I’m glad you liked the concept and transition! I’ll definitely look into improving the controls and friction! Thanks for the feedback and encouragement! 💪

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed the 2D/3D concept. I’ll definitely work on improving the camera and movement, and I appreciate the suggestion about adding a poster and screenshots. Thanks for the awesome feedback!

Thank you for the advice! I'm a bit nervous about longer jams because I worry I might not be able to accomplish enough to compete with others. That said, I definitely want to give it a try one day. I believe I could have fixed most of the bugs if I had more time, but I've been really busy lately and just haven't had much free time.

Thank you so much!

Yes

Thank you so much for the informative feedback! I'm excited to polish the game further based on your thoughts, and I'll definitely let you know when the finished version is ready. I hope you'll enjoy it even more once it's complete!
