Thanks for giving it a try! :)

I really liked this one! Definitely the type of game I need to practice at to get good, lol. I would forget which buttons did which color a lot, so if there's any way to make it more clear as the rings are coming in, I think that would improve the game a lot. Really cool artwork on the discs, and the music is really cool!

The puzzles in this are so creative. Challenging, yet solvable. The hamster is also a bonus. I'm definitely planning on coming back to this one to finish the rest of the game!

I don't normally play these kinds of games, but I thought this was really well executed! It definitely leans into being creepy and unsettling. Well done! I'm glad I gave this one a try!

10/10 across the board. Concept is very cool and everything was executed well. Slight frame drop when playing at higher speeds, but it's fun! (Give me 10 rings next time tho)

Visually this game is stunning! The artwork and voice acting are definitely the highlights! If you continue working on this and add more fighting mechanics I would totally come back and play more of it! Amazing job.

I thought the artwork had a lot of charm to it! It's fun game, just needs a bit more, like maybe more guns I can upgrade to , or some other mechanic that adds to the experience. Nice work overall though!

Nicely done! It reminded me of that one pizza making game on Club Penguin. The visuals were good, the music definitely made this game feel like serious business (though it is a bit loud). Great work!

Really fun short game! Definitely coming back to this one at some point. Reminds me a lot of Dave the Diver and other similar games. The pixel art is PHENOMENAL, so funny. Excellent work!

Very good for a first game jam project! My favorite parts were where you just rolled downhill really fast like a Sonic game. I think the level design should lean into that more. Very well done.

Amazing platformer! I had a lot of fun with this one. The storyline was also very funny (I understood that Joker reference!). Nice job!

This game is awesome! It was challenging enough to keep me VERY engaged, but not so hard that it was frustrating. The horror(?) twist at the end was a really nice touch. Definitely will recommend my team tries this one!

Visuals and music are great, and I really love deck builder games. It was fun to be thinking about my next move at all times. I think some balancing adjustments would do this game wonders! I would like to try out this game again if you continue working on it. That one screen where you choose the next bullets to add to your deck would really benefit from having a description at the top right I think. Overall this is a very solid game!

The pixel art in this game is incredible! I really liked pulling off all the combos while stressing out about incoming dancers, haha. I got to like 7000+ points and died! Really cool game overall! People should definitely give it a shot.

I love concept! Needing to spin the puzzles around to solve them with so many things going on was fun, but stressful, haha. I'm just bad at focusing on more than 1 thing at a time... The only thing I would maybe change is the one puzzle where you press the button before every spin should probably be a later level, I was confused at how that one worked. But other than that, this is a really cool game!

I really like how the visuals, music, and everything mixed together! I'm really bad at focusing on more than 1 thing at a time, so this challenged me a lot, lol. I think I would have to play a bit more to get the hang of it, but I thought this game was really cool! Nice work!

I really enjoyed this game! The pixel art is awesome, and the music fits the general aesthetic really well! This game is so incredibly deep mechanics-wise, I'm very impressed! Nice job! I'd love to see this game expanded on and see where you could take it!

Tbh, you got my attention with the serious looking duck. This is a pretty fun game! I see why you had the pencil spin, combined with the bullet tim-erm, I mean business mode made for an interesting mechanic. I did kinda wish I could aim the pencil with my mouse. Overall, I really like this game!

Thanks for the kind words! Repetitive is definitely a word we've heard a lot about the game. We made an effort to improve on that during the late submission period, but oh well, lesson learned! The enemies walking through walls was actually just a design choice we made. Adding collision code for all the enemies might have slowed down the game a bit, but also we believed it helped make the game more of a challenge.

We appreciate your feedback! Thanks for playing! :)

I like the concept of a platformer where the levels are affected by random chance! I would love to see a version of this that is more fleshed out. Nice job!

I love the concept a lot, I grew up playing all kinds of tower defense games. The music and general aesthetic of the game were really cool. I liked the storyline and I chuckled a bit at all the clever acronyms.

I had some notes on the execution. The enemies at the beginning could be slowed down just a little so you can get the hang of the way the spin works, I felt overwhelmed very quickly, but the upgrades helped out later. It would be great to have the ability to sell towers to get a little money back, I definitely regretted how I placed my towers, so it would be great to be able to revert. Lastly I thought the firing rate of the shooting towers was a bit slow, all it took was 2 enemies to overwhelm my turret. Maybe allow the player the shoot with the turrets themselves by pressing space?

Again, love the concept. The execution just needs a little bit more imo.

Hey! I think this game is really cool! It's amazing this is your first game, well done! As someone who is terrible at bullet hells, I appreciated that the ship fires automatically so I can just focus on dodging and parrying. The music and artwork were really good too!

I had just a couple notes for feedback. I realize maybe there wasn't enough time to add more to the game, but it would have been nice to have at least 1 quick level with normal enemies or a tutorial phase to give the player some time to play around with the controls and mechanics before the boss fight. I died a couple times trying to figure out how parrying worked, how I was taking damage, and when I'm supposed to charge the big shot. Once I understood that, I had fun with the game. Solid game overall!

Thanks so much for the kind words! We all had a blast making this and we're very happy that people are enjoying the end result. I'm glad the revival wheel was able to save your run!

Ah, noted! This was my first game messing around with collision maps so this is helpful feedback. Thanks for playing!

Anything for more spin! Thanks for playing!

Thanks for all the feedback during the late submission period! We updated quite a few things:
* Enemy speed slightly increased.
* Updated level designs.
* Reduced kill requirements for levels that felt too long.
* Updated HUD/UI.
* New animations.
* Enemy spawns are weighted based on level.

Thanks for taking the time to play!

Thanks for the feedback! We're making adjustments as we speak, glad you enjoyed your time with our game!

Thanks for the feedback! To be honest we got feedback within our team that it might be good to shorten the levels a little, we'll make adjustments while we can today!

Our artists were amazing! When they were added to the team I was interested to see how the styles would mix together and we are all very happy with the results! Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! We are still polishing a couple of things today believe it or not!

Thanks for playing! We're polishing a little bit today, but we're glad you enjoyed your time with it!

You are correct! Those were all handwritten notes that were scanned and put in the game as sprites. Not only was it quicker for us to do it that way, but we felt it looked more authentic too! Thanks for playing!

I'm gonna need you to release that song so I can listen to it again, haha. By the end of one round I already felt like I spent a night at the club. This game was awesome!

I always picked him during my playtesting too, haha. Slick is literally his middle name, after all! Thanks for playing!

Nice chill game (no pun intended). Felt a lot like I was in space. Getting launched and hanging in the air for like 20 seconds was funny

This is a classic slick race against time game! I really like the retro aesthetic and the music. My only point of criticism is that it would be nice to see the obstacles coming up a little earlier to give the player more time to react. Other than that, this was a fun time! Great job.

Thank you for taking the time to give our game a try!

lol yeah we may have gone a little overboard with the phone, but we thought it would be funny to have someone pester you throughout. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! The inspiration for the concept came from games like Nancy Drew and Five Nights at Freddy's. Glad you enjoyed it!
