Hi, thanks for playing! To get the doll head held by the spider, you have to get blood on your knife (either cut yourself or stab the monster in the tree hole) and put it on the bread. Then put the bloody bread on the ground to attract the insect. While the insect is tasting the blood, hover over it so it makes a loud noise, and then the spider eats it. After that, you can get the doll’s head. It’s a bit unclear since this is a very early version of the demo. The full version can be found on Steam now, and the puzzles and hints are more complete. It is going to be on sale for the Autumn Festival, so if you are interested, please give it a try!
A very intriguing observation-based puzzle game! I really enjoyed the experience of following one clue to the next—it makes the whole process feel rewarding and immersive. I couldn’t quite figure out how to reach the ending, though, as each loop started feeling a bit too long by the end. Still, it’s a great concept, and I really liked it!
I really enjoyed the way the game portrays the endless cycle of polishing and tweaking—it’s a kind of development hell that deeply resonates with me as a fellow game dev. Watching the iteration count go up level by level builds a genuine sense of anticipation for what’s coming next. There’s a clever little twist midway that made me smile, and the final music is beautiful.
I did struggle quite a bit with the last stretch of the final level—it took me many tries to get through. But through all that repetition, I discovered a faster route, which might very well be part of the intended design. Either way, it was a great moment of realization.
A fantastic game overall—looking forward to your next project!
