I'm really glad you liked it and thought it got that old flash game style well! I'll look into adjusting hitboxes for after voting period.

Thank you!!!

Watching number go up is so addicting and so satisfying seeing the cars loop around... Made it to day 16. Love the idea. Adding more cars that have crazy synergy with each other would be so cool...

One little issue I noticed is the currency would sometimes display as a float and at one point despite saying I had 10 UP, it wouldn't allow me to buy an upgrade that was that same price.

Good job with it!!! Really fun

Really fun idea. I love how some of the level design was created with the upgrades in mind, like dashing through the sawblades in the middle. Would be really cool to see this expanded on with more levels!

Such a cool but simple game, both in art and mechanics. I think about the best you could've pulled off the cowboy lasso idea. Super cool!

Very Interesting.

Thank you!!

Sounds awesome! What score did you get?

haha, thank you! Id like to think I excel at making quality ragebait games. Level 13 is definitely an impressive feat.

Hey! Thank for the question.

I'd recommend waiting until after the voting period is over to post the update, unless you believe it's needed. (ex. a game-breaking bug that needs fixed.)

That's totally okay! Just send the URL to your game once you upload it and I'll give you the link that will allow you to actually submit it to the jam.

I mean, I'm not sure how many people would play the game if you did that, I'd recommend just making it free. Then you can release a version later on that's paid, maybe.

Oh, that's odd. I swear I set it to never expire, here's a new link: https://discord.gg/eDqz8AP5

Make sure to read the rules! Thank you!

I've created a (rather empty right now) Discord for the jam. :)

I'm working on one now and will post it soon!

Noted! I'll look into making one a little later and will let you know once I've created one.

This was a pretty cool! The art is unique and looks appealing and while a simple concept, is still pretty fun. It's really cool to see something like this made in such a short amount of time, even if it's in RPGMaker.

It'd be cool to see more games with this kinda style. Hand-drawn art and RPGMaker is an awesome combo. Good job!

Thank you both for playing and the feedback! I appreciate the interest in the future of the game! :D

Oh I definitely want to, I really wanted to be able to get them to stack, I'd have to rework code especially for the Crooked Stem but it'd be really cool. Games like Risk of Rain 2 are very fun for me because of the whole being able to stack things like crazy if you get lucky part.

Thank you! Yea, you hit the nail on the head with balancing, lol. I'd love to develop it further after the jam and add some more content to it.

Oh sorry, they were hidden on accident, a couple screenshots added.

Thank you! Yea, I'll definitely add more upgrades when possible and maybe a different mode, or even make it's own upgrade for auto-spraying/toggle. Also, the storage card getting stuck on screen isn't a bug, it's just hard mode! (lol)

Thank you!! Bees and enemies were gonna be explained better but never got around to it and it's definitely something I am going to fix when possible. Also I do agree that the wave times get a bit silly later on and can be tweaked. I'll focus on fixing all of these problems when I can. Very helpful critique!

Thank you!! Bees were supposed to be explained better but never got around to it (they're unfortunately bad despite their relationship with flowers in the real world lol) but yea, frogs are probably my favorite enemy, too. Thanks again!

Thank you a lot!

Of course I can't update it while in voting phase but I will make sure to fix all these problems as I agree with them all. Some of these I was already wanting to fix but time got in my way or I simply had just forgotten. Again, thanks for playing!

Thank you so much! I agree very much with the critiques. I tried to lean towards more exaggerated animation at some points but didn't fully utilize them I feel. The game's supposed to have that difficulty to it, but I'm glad you liked it and still found it fun even so!

Overall pretty fun! I definitely underestimated winter and how much food I needed, haha. I can see this being very addicting and definitely has potential to be expanded on a lot.

I'm aware of an issue where upgrades don't actually take currency! Just be mindful of that!

Like has been said, it can be very difficult, but I still had fun with it! Very cool concept.

Was pretty neat! Liked the concept of having to grow the specific plants and the puzzle aspects with those were cool.
