This is probably my favorite game of the jam I've played so far. It feels very complete unique, and could very well be a full on game. I think it'd be helpful to flesh out the tutorial a bit more but I was able to figure stuff out after one or two attempts at the game. Overall amazing job I love this game :D

Big fan of this game, felt very polished and had a unique concept. The only thing I'd say is that I didn't think it fit the given theme, but I'd say you absolutely nailed a great polished puzzle game in a week :D

10/10 submission, very polished, good music and art, great puzzle game, and it fits the theme. I had a lot of fun playing :D

cool puzzle game and extremely polished! The only thing I'd say is I don't know how much it fits with the theme, but as a puzzle game I'm a very big fan.

Very cool tower defense games with one of the cooler art styles ive seen so far. I couldn't figure out how to buy hp but i was able to get enough upgrades before i died to go forever. Not sure what the best way around the street lamp being as OP as it is would be, maybe having it take damage or lose its light over time that can be replenished with the currency, but for a game jame game it was very solid and I had fun trying it out :D

Thanks for trying the game out! Ive had very very different opinions from people on the games difficulty curve and as the game is its the kind of thing that if you can get past the initial round you can get so much light every round that you just buy infinite items and get really overpowered. If I go back to update this game ill look into a way to maybe make the beginning a little easier without making the endgame even more chaotic than it becomes. Regardless, I'm glad you enjoyed :)

thanks for playing! I had initially thought of doing a left click - right click system for the weapons but thought it'd be easy to spam both at once and figured using the number keys was an alright alternative, but i will keep it on my list of things to look into when i go back to update this game, as well as making hits be more apparent with some kind of effect. Glad you enjoyed :D

(1 edit)

thanks a bunch! I did make this game myself but at the cost of my sleep for 6 days to get it to where it is in time :(. A lot of the issues people  have been mentioning were things i noticed very last minute including the lack of hit indication, so ill make sure to add it to my list of things to update. Thanks for playing though! :D

glad you enjoyed! I only had 2 upgrades related to healing and I realized not long before I had to submit that it probably wasnt enough :/. Ill get around to updating the game when the jam is over but thanks again for checking it out :D

Very cool puzzle and precision platformer with great mechanics and awesome art. The only note im going to add is that in the level where platforms turn on and off, it might be easier for the player to time it if it switched in sync with the music, kinda like celeste B - sides. Aside from that, amazing work! :D

really cool game with great art and music, and I was a big fan of the perspective puzzles :D

thanks for playing :D. Just curious which hitboxes you thought were small in case I go back at some point to update my game

thanks for playing. I tried to show it in that initial controls screen, but you just use your 1 and 2 keys to swap between your weapons. I was also planning to change the ranged guy to be less annoying by stopping a little closer to you but I didn;t get to do it by the deadline. Still very happy you had fun tho :D

thanks! Also no joke your game is my favorite one ive played so far

simple yet cool defend the tower-like game that fits the theme pretty well. Great job! :D

LETS HIT THE GREEN 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Jokes aside though, this is a simple, yet very polished game with a great art style and sfx. I had a great time playing :D

This is truly amazing. I set a man on fire, grabbed a cup, and jumped to my death. I could not ask for anything more in a video game

This is awesome. Zooming around in this game feels amazing and I had a blast. I do wish I could see my score as I was playing and I also ran into a bug every now and then where my screen would fade to black but the game wouldnt end. It happened very rarely though, and every other time I had a great experience :D

Absolutely love this game. The art style is amazing and that tutorial video was awesome. Had a great time playing :D

big fan of the premise, art style, and vibe of the game. My only real problem is that your very slow and it takes a very long time to get places, but I still enjoyed myself and was thoroughly creeped out the whole time :)

i really like the creepy aesthetic of the game. While I get the point of the game is to navigate and explore the area, it was a bit disorienting with such little direction, and I ran into objects i couldnt interact with. I know its unrealistic for a game jam, but if you come back to the game maybe having something like a minimap that updates as you explore could be useful. Aside from that, I enjoyed the game :D

really really cool game! The levels feel very thought out and i love the art style.

Thanks for playing, the game worked fine and all the resource gathering and crafting was fully functional until I exported it and everything just broke, and I'm not exactly smart enough to figure out why things don't work when exported that did work in the godot editor. Maybe one day it will be fixed
I did play your game though and had a great time playing :)

This game is awesome! The artwork is really cool and all the elements of the game work very well. The only things I think the game could really use at this stage would be an ability to remove a unit you've bought after you bought it but other than that I had a great time playing!

A simple but very cool submission! I really like the art style and think the realistic style looks rally nice, and I'd say it works well with the arcade theme :)

I really love the concept of the game, especially the dogs that dash and you pulled off the two color artwork very well! The only thing is I didn't appear to die upon running out of lives, but other than that I had a great time playing :D

Thanks! Hopefully i can get fishing to actually work upon exporting my game so stay tuned :D

fishing and getting items from it seems to have broken completely after i exported the game, so im looking into it right now so the game will hopefully be playable soon. Thanks for checking it out though :D

Thanks for the great review! :D

Didnt even cross my mind when I was making this, will add soon. Thanks a bunch!

Thanks for playing it!

thanks for reviewing. I had way more stuff planned to make the game more engaging but unfortunately the deadline crept up on me very quickly, and I'll also look into the trap hitboxes.

thanks, I'm still working on learning godot and budgeting my time so I got a lot less than I was hoping to. I do plan on adding more things to dodge and overall make the game better in the near future. Thanks for reviewing though!

Really fun stealth game and I love the art. I guess the only thing I could really say about improving the game would be along the lines as the other comments of maybe some extra mechanics or maybe making the barrels you hide in a bit more useful, I found I didn't use them very often while playing or there weren't any where they would have been nice to have. These are just small nitpicks  though, and I think you made an awesome game :D

Cool game. Haven't seen many puzzle games yet and I like the sliding mechanic :)

simple but really fun and a cool interpretation of the theme. Probably one of my favorites so far!

This game is awesome! I love the art and the fact that you made all this in a week is mind boggling ;D

Very cool stealth game. Not sure if its intentional, but if your moving then press hid you keep moving in that direction which makes the levels a lot easier. I had fun though :)
