Very simple, but not every easy. The art is intriguing and fun. I like how the stages progress closer to the city (and then in city) after each round. This feels like a true hand-eye coordination skill based game. The difficulty highly increased by the 3rd level. I also like the intro music setting the tone for the barrage of virus that is to come. Cool game!

Fantastic game, great sounds and mechanics! I think what makes this so successful is the difficulty is just high enough that by the time you die, there is an automatic drive to want to try again. The fog of war feels just right, and I appreciated finding the health packs when getting trapped in a corner. The enemies and their are AI are fairly creepy and the damage they do is not to be taken lightly. All in all I think this one of the most successful games from the semester. Well done!

Super cool art design, I dig the background and cat character. There is an almost spooky/witchy/halloween theme feeling here. The cats ability to jump feels frisky and springy. I agree with the other commentator that the camera feels a bit too zoomed in to map out my next direct move. And the platforms are a bit too challenging to hop on. Well done delivering from concept to finished product.

Although this is the 3rd cat game in our class, this was done quite differently. The music feels like I am a lost cat and the sound effectives adds to the true platformer feel. I like how the first level is nightime and dark, and the second stage daytime. The cat sounds when jumping and attacking are cute and somehow more kitten like than what would come off as an attack.

The game overall feels too easy and the enemy cats need some AI to move and attack back. Great job executing and separating yourself from the pack!

Interesting and fun game. One of the unique things about it is the animated background! Very cool. I like that you get to select the stage by entering a ship and collecting coins there. I highly appreciate the art (especially the doge face for the health meter) and entire design. It's simple, effective, and collecting the coins felt easy-moderately difficult. Great concept and execution.

I art is creepy (in a good way) yet cool in this game. I love the timeline and beating the clock is measured in the linear bar with the clown up top. The flower is delicate looking but seems so chill in demeanor. This was a fairly challenging game, especially when falling into the map's pits, jumping out I'd get snagged on edges with not enough space for clearance. The colors made this attractive while making me feel I needed to escape quick!

I love that this game starts with a visual storyline and sets the tone of the game. The design is pretty awesome and reminds me of classic Nintendo platformers like Ghouls and Goblins, except more vertical. The enemies are adorable and the flow of jumping and attacking feels fairly natural. I like the level design as well.

This is an awesome game and has interesting mechanics with the player ship shooting from it's side with 3 projectiles at once. I like the computer AI on how it tracks and fires at you, which makes this initially feel difficult to dodge. But with some time it becomes easier to out maneuver and dodge the enemies attacks. The gameplay is smooth from the top down view. Id' recommend to zoom in more on the map, and possibly make the projectiles larger. Add some more difficulty to the AI.

I also like the intro screen and music. Plus an Options menu! Awesome!

Good start to a 2-player racing game. I think this is considered a good beginning demo that could use some race track boundaries. Maybe crash 3-4 times and that player loses? Additionally the map could be increased in size, and the cars movement need to be ironed out. They're a bit hard to control. How many laps does one need to win?

Beautiful itch page, fantastic art, and overall good gameplay. I really like the contrasting colors between the main playable character and the dark level design. It adds emphasis on the dungeon like level design, which is also done very well. The 2 levels feel very complete and relatively challenging. Respawning double knights seems to be a feature, not a bug. :) Well done!

How cute and fun is this game! The pig floating in this wonderful cloudy environment definitely brought a smile to my face. The music matches the feel, and the sound effects when firing is hilarious. I feel the difficulty was perfectly moderate- double jumping was easy but didn't necessarily make it easy for me to overcome obstacles. I also laughed when I died and the death screen showed me as bacon. Great job on the art, design, and mechanics of the game. It feels very complete with only minor bugs.

Congrats on making this entertaining and attractive. Also, well done Itch.io page!

Holy moly, what a fantastic and well put together game. I am thoroughly impressed with the aesthetics, mechanics, and overall design! This reminds me of classic Final Fantasy games, or even Zelda. I am shocked how well the gameplay feels, the pop up menus for dialogue, and immediately felt close to home playing a classic RPG. Meeting characters and getting to the next steps felt innate and natural. Well done!

Wonderful RPG game and had me feeling very nostalgic to Gameboy games. The monochromatic art also lends to this theme and adds to the immersive experience. The NPCs are simple and very effective. The mother with the boy who wouldn't go outside to touch grass, we quickly learn he is allergic to grass, had me laughing out loud. I can completely envision this on a handheld device. I think you really nailed this game from end to end. Would love to see this in it's final form.

Round of applause for you!

Love this game's concept! I always appreciated narrative based games and this is no different. The world feels immersive, and I enjoy playing this tall character, hopping about and working to regain his memory and purpose. I wish the level were bigger for me to explore more and interact with all the mysterious things laid about. The bear had me laughing with his aggressive animation, but warm demeanor to join him. The "friendly wolf" and his narration was a nice juxtaposition to what I'm used to when encountering a wolf. Additionally, I wished the camera were just another 1/4th higher to view more of the world/map instead of seeing 1/2 the ground when playing.

Overall great job!

I really enjoyed the idea and play style of this game. I art is fun and funny, and the fact that AOC shoots tweets our (at a machine gun pace!) is hilarious. I like the angry face she makes when she fires them off. I must say, it is satisfying to shoot tweets back at Trump and watch him disappear off screen.

The jump mechanism is interesting- very floaty feeling to it. I was nearly trying to fly off each platform, and almost couldn't clear a few of them. Great job and fantastic idea!

The sprites you created are adorable! This seems appropriate to use for a child's video game. The smoke coming from the house are a nice touch. I wonder if this would turn into an adventure game, maybe something like Dora the Explorer feel. I appreciated that when you presented, you displayed the growth by showing before and after art work. Well done!

Interesting game that gives off a cross between mario brothers and pokemon sort of feel. I like the variety of enemies and the art style. Hopping over the speedy patrolling at a hyper rate was tricky to get around, but I found the timing to do so. My favorite part is the shocked face the character makes when taking damage. Hilarious!

There are some weird bugs like getting stuck on tiles, accidentally climbing on invisible ladders, and I couldn't get passed the tall catcus like enemy who did hurt me, but pushed me back off the ledge he guarded. Unique and fun game!

This game is pretty awesome! I like that the controls and feel with the mouse are intense and fast paced. I like how the enemy gun fire is foreshadowed with lines and provides the player with the necessary information to stay ahead of the AI. The music and sound effects definitely provides an immersive experience as well. The art gives me a late 80's vibe and I appreciate the overall style.

The name "Supercruise" is almost a too relaxed title for it's action pack gameplay. The game is pretty difficult, it took me 3-4 deaths just to understand how to pass the first wave of attack. After passing that, I died several more times figuring out the next position to survive.
