Hi everyone!

I’m developing M.I.S.T.A.R., a browser-based single-player strategy game played on a 3D world map, inspired by classic geopolitical war games and 1980s military-command interfaces.

You control a geopolitical faction and must expand your territory using land, naval and air units while managing cities, bases, factories, resources, fortifications and missile operations.

The project has now reached Beta 0.8.0 and includes:

  • Nine playable geopolitical factions
  • Easy, Normal and Hard difficulty levels
  • Land, naval and air movement
  • Bases, airports, ports and defensive perimeters
  • Fortifications along terrestrial borders
  • Missile operations and strategic targets
  • Resource production and economic connections
  • Ability cards and special actions
  • A guided tutorial
  • An in-game Wiki
  • English, Italian, German, French and Spanish support

I’m currently looking for players willing to test the game and share honest feedback. Bug reports, balancing suggestions and general impressions are all extremely helpful.

You can find the project and play the beta here:

Thank you to anyone who gives it a try!

Hi everyone,

I've just opened the public beta of M.I.S.T.A.R. — Military Intelligence System, a browser-based global military strategy game.

The game runs directly in the browser — no download or registration required.

Beta version: 0.2.2
Available: September 17–20
Platform: PC browser
Play: https://mistargame.com/

M.I.S.T.A.R. is played on a 3D world map where you control a geopolitical bloc, move troops by land, sea and air, build military bases and defenses, attack cities and fight large-scale conflicts.

A short tutorial is available for new players.

I'm mainly looking for feedback about:

  • tutorial clarity
  • controls and UI
  • combat and troop movement
  • AI behaviour
  • performance
  • bugs
  • anything confusing or frustrating
  • whether you actually wanted to keep playing

Even 15–30 minutes of testing would help a lot.

The beta server will close after September 20 while I work through the feedback and prepare the next version.

Thanks to anyone who gives it a try.
