Fun little dungeon crawler.

The game has some very crucial flaws in that there is no stagger so you cannot really combo your enemies and have to largely rely on hit and run techniques or get countered immediately. Also there is an awkward delay after your attack before you can dodge, which would be alright if your axe was a heavy powerful weapon that can stun enemies but works very poorly for hit and run tactics you need to do because enemies do not stagger. The fact that there are no heavy attacks, jump attacks or dash attacks and the only option for the player, regular enemies AND bosses being basic combos make the combat end up growing kinda stale and the bosses feel the same. Despite all of that, the game is actually too easy because your health regenerates very quickly on its own. Archers are too weak and I would have increased their rate of fire.

If you were going for a Soulslike feel (because of the invincibility roll being your main defense), backstabs, rolling attacks, parry 'n riposte and healing flasks would have been nice too but if you were going more for a classic hack 'n slash this is unnessesary.

There is a minor glitch where you can glitch yourself through some walls and gates by positioning yourself at a certain angle and swinging your axe, using the forward momentum. But that is nothing gamebreaking or especially awful.

Despite that, I actually had a lot of fun with your game. The envoirements were beautiful, I liked the overall setting and the player, enemy and boss designs and hacking 'n slashing through enemies with an axe is always fun.

I hope you learned a lot about Unity with this so you can make a better hack and slash later.

Great little card game.

No warrior class.

QEZC instead of numpad.

Unplayable! Not everyone has an american keyboard.

Mount and Blade but Soulash.

Would be cool if a maxed out endgame character could be a one-man army and wipe out enemy armies.

I do not like how the game prides itself with a "classless system where you can create every character you want", but then the "races" are actually class locked.

You could theoretically make a Kitkin berserker, but you would literally advance in clubs and two handed at half the rate of a Woolkin (75% VS 150%), get very low HP and a bunch of mana you don't need AND your active and passive abilities would be useless to you. The character would just be worthless.

Really, the races just determine your class. Hope this gets fixed or the game will at least acknowledge that race = class in this game and not try to mislead the player.

I AM WINNER!!!

Actually really good. It's a bit jank and melee is kinda awkward but when you get over it, this is a really fun little game.

One of the items you can find in the chests is a cat. 🐈🐈‍⬛🐈🐈‍⬛🐈🐈‍⬛

They are rare but hammers exist, which is always a welcome sight in ARPGs like this.

Funney colorz and noizes!!!

Trying to make this an MMO was a mistake.

I am sure there was some pretty cool gameplay here but the updater throws me an error, the main menu runs at 2 fps and the servers are probably dead. I wish this was singleplayer.

Castlevania series?

Minimalistic but fun game. Surprisingly challenging.

Not great.

The combat and hit feedback are not satisfying. Hitboxes are weird. Melee enemies are not fun to fight.

The dragon could hit me with his bite even though I was standing to his side nowhere near his jaw.

Yeah, this kinda sucks.

Needs a dash button to avoid enemy attacks.

Melee enemies are boring to fight.

Why all the hybrid skills like this and Stormthrowing?

I think swords, axes, maces and polearms are enough for melee and there is a lot more than enough magic already.

Please focus on wars, kingdom management, expanding necromancy, events and the main story, aswell as adding more dungeons, locations and enemies, instead of adding a bunch of pointless bloat skills.

Fun idle RPG. It's a bit slow but that's how idle games go. I am a huge fan of the equipment actually displaying on your guy. On my way to LV 30 right now. The sprite are is really nice.

What I think is strange is that mage equipment actually seems like the more powerful choice for a warrior (except the shield because 15% block is SWEET!), especially since defense gets less important once you upgrade your potions to live on forever. So my warrior guy ended up sporting some robes and a mask. Also equipment drops are kinda rare and I spent until LV 15 just wearing my default shirt and sandals because nothing better dropped. Getting a weapon was also annoying because there are so many of them that getting one of my preffered type (clubs) was ultra rare. The initial grin for the first club was also annoying. I would suggest improving the drop rates for equipment.

Will I be able to hire builders or switch to a dedicated family member for building or does my main guy have to get the skill if he wants to get into building?

I am not very keen on getting the building skill on my main guy because it would take away potential that I want to use on my combat skills. I haven't played much of the game yet because I wanna wait for 1.0 before I start my first true proper run so sorry if the question is dumb or obvious.

But can I switch between characters in my family to have a builder and a combat man or do I absoultely need the building skill on my main character to make a settlement.

Poopypants

For how ridiculous and stupid the premise is, this game is surprisingly...good?

Worth noting is that this is less of a Fallout style game and more of a procedural dungeon crawling grinding game, which I really enjoy. I think there are way too few grinding games with exciting action combat. Dungeons also have traps to keep you concentrated and alert.

The learning curve is quite steep and armor seems to make a huge difference. The combat is super fast and hectic.

Also gotta LOVE the Raider pony designs. Such dissonance between the cutesy stylized pony form and fucked up drug addict raider features.

I would have liked if the game had the option to play as a male pony, but considering that this is based on MLP and I don't even think the show had male characters at all, I understand why you have to play a mare. Also Telekinesis and especially lockpicking feel required in this game which I am not a fan of. Blunt weapons are pretty rare to find, but they are around.

Overall, this is just a hilarious meme game with surprisingly very well made 2D action adventure gameplay. Definitively don't write this one off as "Bronie coomershit".

Getting it to run really was a non-issue for me. Only had to install https://airsdk.harman.com/runtime

I think this is a very beautiful and atmospheric game and I have gotten a lot of fun out of it. It just feels like one of these games that is an actual adventure. A true journey trough a fantasy world.

However, the balance of this game also just feels broken. I was playing a physical berserker. Heavy armor of course and alternating between dual wield and two handed. First bunch of levels went entirely into endurance and then later transitioning to strength. After clearing out most of the map of all live, the only things left were the black pyramid, noble district, some gods and a few stragglers that didn't provide any exp or meaningful loot anymore. However most of these enemies, like Vampire Knights and Flagellants, were just plain stronger than me, taking less damage and dealing more damage than me, and couldn't be taken on without the serious risk of dieing while the gods had a ton more HP and dealt more damage than me, even using the few summons that I had available, which would often get friendly fired or destroyed by enemy AOEs.

But I know that it is possible to beat this game according to steam archievements. 1,8% of people beat the game and 0,2% of them were berserkers so it is possible.

Got any advice for my next run so it goes better? Because I can't really come up with a way on how to deal with Vampire Knights, Flagellants and the high level gods.

Good to know.

Is there an option to have builders in your settlement or is training the Construction skill nessesary for building your settlement?

Janky but also very enjoyable demo. The Sentenced King was TOUGH AF but that only made beating him all the more sweeter.

Can't wait for the full game.

This sux, bro.

I meant the editor was bugged for me. When I opened the editor after making an offspring, it would display the points I have ammassed during gameplay but after purchasing a part, it would reset to the value you get at the beginning of the game, so improving your creature was impossible. I think this was a bug and not intended.

But maybe it as already been fixed because I haven't played since 50 days. Still, please playtest again, gain some DNA points, try to customize an offspring with those newly gained points and see if it works.

Just watch porn. Games shouldn't be about sex and fetish fuel.

Straight sex is only important in this game to create offsprings to inherit your legacy and you can continue your jouney as if your mc dies. It's a gameplay and story building mechanic, not porn. And it is a pretty cool idea at that for a permadeath roguelite.

I do not know why people are so obsessed with sex in games anyway?

Why does it matter that the game doesn't have gay sex? What would gay sex add to your epic dragon slaying fantasy adventure?

Heck, the only reason to even have a straight marriage in this game is just so you can reproduce to have someone to carry on your legacy. People need to stop obsessing about sex so much.

Just don't get hit, bro.

Really looking forward to wars.

Take all your time you need.

But maybe consider updating the Roadmap with your current predictions of dates if you can find time for that, so I can know when to plan in my playtrough.

Bite the bullet.

Its just 10 dollars, so even if you lose your steam account or the servers go down, it's not a big loss.

Also keep a seperate, cracked version in case your internet or the Steam servers go down.

Pretty sure he doesn't, especiallyconsidering this game is unfinished yet and we will get a lot more weapons and armor.

Personally, I would really enjoy having  the option to create like 50 or so boxes so you do not need to worry about storage.

A bandaid fix to your problem would be going to \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ATLYSS\ATLYSS_Data\profileCollections and renaming one of your item banks as something else to make space for a new item box. Then, when you want to access the items from the box you renamed again, rename that storage box back to the proper file name. The item boxes are named atl_itemBank, atl_itemBank_01 and atl_itemBank_02.

Some ideas I would like:

/hug
/headpat
/sleep
/sing
/guitar
/breakdance (oh yeah!)
/flex (FUCK YEAH!!!)

PSA of the day: Use /emotes forlist of all usable emotes.

Also a historically accurate war hammer. Maybe as an endgame weapon.

I did a test on a cheated save file and using Berserk rank 6 and all relevant warrior gear, I managed to reach the Quake Pummelers 48 - 70 max damage with just 14 strenght, not even using killer enchanted gear.

That means, on my main character 59 of his strenght went down the drain for nothing. That just sucks.

I have just read the wiki and noticed that every weapon has a maximum DAMAGE value, after which additional DAMAGE, like from the STRENGTH stat (OH YEAH!!! PUMP IT UP!!!) or Berserk bonus, does not apply anymore.

This means that if you get too much STRENGTH for your respective weapon, the stat will just become useless, and you are forced to level a different stat or your character will just be worse.

This system prevents you from being a fragile boi who PUMPS DA MUSCLES TO REACH MAX DAMAGE!!! (oh yeah!), also known as a glass cannon build, who dies in one hit, but can also kill the enemies incredibly fast to make up for it. This also makes Berserk obsolete if you have high enough strength, which is really annoying because, as a brawler, berserk is one of the 3 only active skills I actually enjoy using.

I would like if the weapon damage would be uncapped so I could finally create a character who is fragile as a porcelain doll, but makes up for that by killing enemies super fast with his AMAZING DAMAGE!!! Because DAMAGE IS LOVE!!! DAMAGE IS LIFE! And vitality stinks.

Yeah same.

I fucking hate Steam but it is the only way to play multiplayer.

I wish I could just buy this game on CD, but it uses Steam servers so that is impossile.

I think that the online multiplayer uses Steam servers so don't get ya hopes up.

Would be nice though.

To be honest this wasnt the best update.

The new enemies, Rageboar, Cannonboar, and the Crescent grove enemies feel overtuned. They do too much damage and have too much health for their level which makes the new dungeons a pain. I think the enemies were balanced in a way assuming that you were already LV 20 and had all Coldgeist gear from grinding the previous demo, so for someone at LV 15-18 with normal gear, they feel way too difficult.  The enemies are also way too big. I know that I am a plushie and I am supposed to be small, but due to their size it often makes it hard to see what's going on and all the enemies clip into each other in a giant Homunculus of models stuck together making their attacks hard to judge.

I would suggest reducing the stats of all new mobs to more reasonable levels and shrinking Rageboars, Maws, Deadwood. Also you should be able to jump over Colossus shockwave because at medium distance, it seems literally impossible to avoid.

On a positive note, the new enemies are very fun to fight (if you have your stats beefed up to match them). Maw in paticular feels awesome to successfully dodge. Actually, besides the shrooms, all of the Crescent Grove enemies are fun to fight and feel well designed. Colossus is a very awesome concept for a boss and I like how his two allies are implied to be his creators. It's a nice little story. I am also happy that some of the new enemies can't be parried, making dodging as a warrior a bit more meaningful again, so you need to master a combination of parry and dodge now.

Also I played solo so maybe the encounters were balanced for MP andsolos just need better levels?

Build v0.50.0

The RPG mechanic appears to be broken for me. If I click evolve, it will display the points I have obtained but when I buy a part, it gets reset to the default amount, so I cannot use the points I have obtained. The RPG mechanic looks cool. Please look into it and try to fix it.

Otherwise, the game runs much better now and I could actually play for 1 hour without a crash. Pathfinding has been improved and big creatures feel better now. Keep it up, champ!
