I see, I did not consider AU technical restrictions as I'm unfamiliar with that format, that makes sense. 

Appreciate the discord link, I'll hop in for any beta testing in case that could be helpful, but obviously no hurry.

I know this is a bit of a late and weird question, but would it be possible to have the 4 streams as distinct plugin outputs? 

I'm experimenting a lot with sperate processing (like additional reverbs and EQ) and surround/9.1.6 setups and while it is possible to duplicate instances a lot, having a bit more separated routing options would be super useful in case you want shared controls/LFOs and also cut down on wasteful buffer/plugin duplication.

I know my dream of a multichannel in/buffer/out version would most likely be its own completely new plugin, but unless I'm missing some quirky technical problem multi-out should be relatively feasible?

Very atmospheric! Gives me the best kind of Subnautica/Dark Bramble flashbacks.

Testing it in VR and while the Unity version doesn't support any generic VR Injectors, ReShade+Deph3D can read the depth buffer just fine and runs okay at max settings, but the buffer only contains the ship/enemy/stations.

Would it be possible to have the raymarcher/shaders store the ray depth?
