Justin Rivera: This is a very pleasant game and it has a cute concept. All the models and level designs work really well to make a very enjoyable and lighthearted game. I would just say that the game is a bit unforgiving since it's very likely you'll be stacked out once an enemy gets on top of you. I think giving the player a second or two of invincibility would help lots, and it would keep the player from feeling like the game is stacked against them

Justin Rivera: This is a seriously impressive game, especially considering that we were only about halfway through the semester when it was made. The atmosphere is very well done and the level design, models, and overall feel of the game help to build an immersive experience. The camera feels a bit jittery at times, especially when the player is turning, but this is still a super cool game

Justin Rivera: The concept of the game is really fun and enjoyable to play! The visuals are really well done, with the effects in the background and overall aesthetic of these little creatures. My one gripe would be about the level design. Sometimes it felt like the levels were stacked against me and it was tough to play. Also, some of the levels really relied on the player traveling vertically where there isn't much screen space, so I think incorporating more horizontally inclined levels would help a lot

Justin Rivera: I really like the aesthetic of this game. The levels are put together nicely and in a way that isn't too cluttered, but also not too simple as to make the game feel boring. The variety of enemies and mechanics with the buttons and portals makes this an overall interesting play. But one little thing is that the scene changes are a bit jarring, and I often need to take a second to find the player on the screen. I think just changing where the player spawns so that it's no so drastic between each level would help a lot with that

Justin Rivera: The concept and aesthetic of the game are super appealing! The models, levels, and coloring come together to create a game that is a pleasure to look at and play. I also like the feel of it, moving around the board as a chess piece. I just think that once you are attacked by enemies, it is very easy to become trapped. I got touched one time by an enemy and ended up being swarmed every time I spawned, so maybe some invincibility time after respawning would help with that

Justin Rivera: The sprites and look of the game are super well done! I would just like to see additions to the scrolling background. Since the background is all we have to really look at while playing, seeing something like a parallax effect or changing color themes as you progress would help with the feel of the game. But overall, it's all really well done!

Justin Rivera: The particle effects are extremely well done and feel good to look at. Overall, the visuals of the game are really good, and I think it all fits together. The only thing is that I think it is too easy for the player to be swarmed by enemies, although the bombs help clear the crowd.

Justin Rivera: The animations (and sprites overall) are really well done, especially considering how much time we have to create this game. I really like how you introduce the player to all the concepts in the game. The help popups and the character bios do a good job of guiding the player. Overall, all of the effort put in really shows!

Justin Rivera: The sprites and UI are well done, your whole game agrees on a single style and it all connects very nicely. If anything, maybe just some more moving parts on the screen (ex. slow-moving stars). I actually like the minimal appearance, so any additions to the appearance don't need to be crazy but I think it'd be a nice touch

Justin Rivera: The UI for this game is super clean, which I feel is very important for almost any game but especially true for mobile games. The screen space is limited, so being able to convey as much information as possible while not cluttering the screen and overloading the player is pretty impressive. It is also nice to see a well-polished 3D game in this genre, as most tower defense type games are typically 2D. It is a nice breath of fresh air

Justin Rivera: This is a pretty solid play. the aesthetic is pleasing and it's a nice game to chill out with. It's still engaging but I can also relax and enjoy it. I did feel a bit slow while I was moving, but I think that's okay for this game since you have terrain that directly changes the movement speed of the player. Overall, great job with this!

Justin Rivera: The concept is super interesting! The timer and the nature of the game lend themselves well to speed running as well, so there's a tangible skill level when playing this game. It's a bit tough to tell where I'm supposed to go sometimes, especially since the background is monochromatic. But overall, the game is great to play.

Justin Rivera: The look and mood of the game are great! You guys did a good job at maintaining a style throughout the game and keeping the tone focused on what you wanted the player to feel. It really does give a dreamy vibe. I would like to see more indications of something happening when I pick up the hearts, as sometimes I couldn't tell how much health I was gaining.

Justin Rivera: I really like the concept of this game! You guys did really well with conveying a story and styling your game in a way that helped to guide the player through the storyline. One thing I have to say is that I feel like there's not much forgiveness and it's not to hard to be trapped by an enemy colliding with you (but it could definitely also be that I just suck). I think a bit of forgiveness when taking damage would help a lot. But overall, this is some great work!
