as someone who recently lost a loved one earlier this year, (great grandmother) this felt comforting. it really touches on those feelings of 'why?' one of my first thoughts after losing my Lala was "she wasn't even around long enough to see my prom dress. She always said she'd like to see me in one again" and Mei's character really portrays those types of feelings
