Did you play with Android or PC? at android it already fixed a bug when the menu its glitch and always got freeze..and for PC i don't think i got problem.. everything just fine

No you cant use your old save from v0.1.7 it doesnt work..you should click 'continue from v0.1.7'

You should go to realm of heat.. follow the story rachel and hawk club..you will allow to go realm of heat with rachel..and you can get materials from realm of heat with mining with pickaxe

Use continue..they added 'continue from v0.17'

You should upgrade rachel and hawk club point and you will go to portal realm of heat..first you should ask rachel at noon(hawk club level 5) and after you at realm of heat go mining..and for assamble,forge,etc go ask goto.. then for amethyst you can craft at strorage(school)
