This was very hard, but in a good way! I'm not one for platformers (I'm bad at them), but this one was enjoyable!

I'll be sure to pass your praise along to the VA for that character!

For anyone experiencing the bug on the Death boss fight - that has now been fixed! Please consider replaying the game to see the ending if you were unable to beat it before.

The symbolism was intentional! Thank you for picking up on that! Each of the five stages was meant to represent what they symbolically mean. Anger being a furnace, etc.

We did get permission from Ducky to push a bug fix for that specific bug, so it will be fixed ASAP!

All of the art credit goes to Lusk. They tackled it single-handedly. Monarch did the Curtain animation and Death Background. The character Sprites and all other art was Lusk. They're incredible.

We specifically chose to use the Open Dyslexic Font to make the text more accessible to players, given the nature of the game as a visual novel.

This is unfortunately a known bug. We're going to work on getting a fix out ASAP.

Please consider reviewing Strife of Vengeance.
It's a dice-battler, visual novel that delves into the five stages of Grief and Death, and the lengths one would go to, to save their pet from Death.
Fully Voice Acted (Gender-neutral Protagonist), option for a masculine or feminine voice.
I wrote the narrative and dialogue for the game.

This game was an absolutely blast to play! I'd love to play a full version of it sometime! I loved the race to get to fresh water to add time, including such sources as the toilet and sink.

I agree with other commenters that the game could use a little polish. It's a well executed concept and I'd honestly enjoy a more refined/polished version in the future!

Holy crap. This was heartbreakingly beautiful. Thank you so much for donating a portion of your proceeds to Trans Lifeline. Thank you for such a brilliantly written narrative. Just... thank you.

Sometimes we all need a reminder that we matter.

The Epilogue for the story is on the Itch page. We do have plans to patch the bug as soon as we're able.

Just... damn. As someone that struggles with Major Depressive Disorder, this hit hard. What an absolutely beautiful way to respect the theme of the Jam. You do matter. The lives you touch matter. Thank you so much for donating a portion of your donations to Trans Lifeline. Trans lives matter.

I loved the Japanese mythology represented. A small request would be for a mouse sensitivity slider or a way to turn off head bob for people who get motion sick.

It was a little hard to understand at first, but once I understood the mechanics, it was enjoyable.

I did seem to have a small issue with a few of the items not working like the Rabbit Charm.

HOA ending was my favorite. 15/10 for that alone. Also throwing the boot to the grandson's head.

I appreciated the speed to get the different endings. Also, giving a boot to the grandson's head and taking revenge on the HOA were *perfect*. Who *wouldn't* want revenge on their HOA as a 140 year old woman?

LET HER HAVE HER BUTTERFLY GARDEN.

This was cute. I really enjoyed it! It reminded me of a game ages ago called Hide the P*rn that both Jack and Markiplier played. Same sort of premise. You've died and ask a friend to clean out your stash.

Thank you SO heckin' much for including a sensitivity slider! I get motion sick very easily and being able to configure that made your game 100% accessible for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Normally I wouldn't have done a download, but oh my gosh. This is hilarious! I got a Jack Jump Scare at one point when an "Irish Lads In Your Area" banner popped up right behind me.

Loved this! Also, thank you for including a Sensitivity slider. <3

I have added the Epilogue and Credits to the page for the game so you can see it there for the time being. Thank you so very much for your kind words!

10/10 loved the concept and the puzzles! They weren't too hard nor too easy. Required a decent amount of thinking to solve, but not challenging enough to dissuade people from playing!

I LOVED this one! The visuals reminded me of Journey of the Prairie King from Stardew Valley!

This is cute. It reminds me a lot of Journey of the Prairie King from Stardew Valley. I'd love to see weapon upgrades or player upgrades implemented, like a sprint or stronger weapons.
For being done in 5 days, I really like this. Nice variety of art on the sprites too!

I really enjoyed this! I went the Angelic route and thought it was lovely.

10/10 game. Jammy was adorable; the concept was well executed and easy to understand. Plus you got to see me get the rare Double Death!

I enjoyed this one a lot! The art style reminded me of FAITH which is a 10/10 game.

"Let me just shove my bodies in the hole."
A refreshing take on the theme for the jam! I enjoyed it. I particularly like the graphics, they remind me of FAITH which is just a 10/10 game series.

My only complaint and this is minor: the font for Death's speaking was a little hard to read.

I like the concept of the game (I'm a sucker for typing games). I'd love to see some additions, like a simple ambient sound in the background and maybe power ups you could get from defeating specific locks. Once I figured out the mechanics, I enjoyed it! I loved the different key upgrades you could get, too!

Cute little game! I went Angelic and enjoyed it!

I generally dislike platformers, but this is *chef's kiss*. Jammy's sounds are adorable and the concept is easy to understand and well executed!

This is absolutely addicting! I can see my self coming back and playing this again.
GLORY TO SIR BONKS ALOT
6/5 Stars for allowing us to have pettable rat.

Once again, I am defeated by my arch nemesis - Platformers. I'm horrible at them, but this was cute and just needs a little polishing! I honestly enjoyed it!

I'm not much of an enjoyer of bullet hell games, but this one has a promising start. I'd love to see a more polished version in the future and hope you update this! For only being your 3rd Godot game, I'm very impressed! (Not that I have a lot of room to speak, this was my first ever jam.)

Priority given Browser Based games (just because I am skeptical of downloads).

Aww, thank you! Lusk absolutely delivered with the art!

Thank you for the feedback! If we end up polishing up the game, that's definitely something we can look into changing!

Where's Waldo meets Hitman in an adorable little game. Absolute blast to play!

What a beautiful catto!
Please give her a treat and pets from me as an apology.

We did add a tutorial to the Description on the Itch page. Unfortunately we just didn't have time to get one into the game. If we develop the project past the jam, we'll make sure to include an in-game tutorial!
