am around 70 days in the game, But i still never clicked "go Steady" with someone. what does it exactly do?

Some really good stuff in here, but the MC is an incredible Asshole. I've quit when he met shay in the tryout room. Does he somehow evolves his character or does it stay this way?
Absolutely Loving this game. Just discovered this genre. And while i only played Once in a Lifetime, Eternum and this so far its been a blast.
