Cool, thanks! Yeah, it is pretty normal for low-spec artwork to have the shading baked into pixel art textures like this. I didn’t find an option to disable the normal based lighting but it seemed subtle enough that it didn’t matter in the end for this. If there isn’t an option please consider this also a formal request to add as well. please and thank you :D

Love the tool btw! Would you be interested in some input on the UI/UX? I have some ideas that I think would streamline some things that I could mock-up as well and send your way.

I made a quick mock-up of what it should look like. Emphasis on the quick. I didn’t bother trying to normalize the shadow length so it hops around a lot. But you should get the idea.

Could you add the option to pin the light’s position relative to the spinning model? In other words, make it so its the camera spinning around the scene rather than the model spinning in front of a fixed camera. The difference is in making the shadow spin about the model’s axis in world space rather than its own local space. I hope I made sense.

As it is now there is no way to make lighting baked into the pixel art make logical sense with the cast shadows this tool provides. (Not without being forced to do top-down lighting for everything, anyway. Baked shadows for your skull example would work because it is lit primarily from above.)

spinning skeleton

Going up two tiers of chisel (rusty->steel) didn’t seem to provide me anything. I am pretty sure it took two taps per rock before(due to mining level) and still took 2 taps after.

Provide some abilities to:

Decrease time to get new rocks(items go away faster and new rock is rolled out quicker)

Roll out more than 1 rock at a time, as one reward is being presented let the player click the others.

Bring out entire piles at a time that can be mined all at once.

I have 2 polished sapphires but it still won’t let me buy the Reflex ability. Do I just need to have Keen Eye first or something? Or is it just not implemented?

Any web versions for your games planned?

I love all these! I can’t wait to use them in some games. Thank you so much!

Electronic Action Theme slaps!

Cool concept! I think it could be a fun puzzle game with just a little more refinement.

I had a lot of fun playing. Its definitely in the top 5 in the jam for me.

I had a lot of fun playing!

I had fun! I wish there was an option for me to reject them. I loved the art aesthetic. It was really cute.

I couldn’t figure out what exactly was intended by cloverleaf pattern. Even doing my best to carefully read the cw, ccw, ccw, barrel order instructions resulted in being disqualified. The cue system wasn’t all that clear to me either. Sometimes it would increase with space and sometimes it would go down.

The game feel for controlling the horse is really fun. You nailed the aesthetic with the environment and music choice.

Thanks!

I had ideas about using them to power an attack by the drone where it would spear through the enemies. In the process it would disconnect the tail so you’d have to recollect the crystals. Didn’t have time though.

As it is right now all they are used for is handing to the altar in the middle of the map to progress to the next level. That, and giving the altar some crystals can trigger a bit of health restoration.

I had fun playing your game! It was a bit rough going at first trying to figure out how to get past that opening dialogue, but you’re already aware of that issue. You did a good job with the spooky vibes!

The drone distance was a known issue. What we have now with the arrow was a compromise for sake of time investment on my part. I am not sure if adding in a return behavior to the drone would fit into the characterization of a “bugfix.” It will likely have to wait for a post-jam version.

Somehow we didn’t think to check for spamming submission. The blocking death animation is a good call out. I’ll try to make a bugfix to address them by tomorrow.

TYSM for taking the time to QA!

I loved the puzzles! No notes from me. This is probably my favorite game in this jam that I’ve played so far.

It was a bit hard to tell what end of the rotating red wires are what in the dark. The puzzle mechanic was interesting.

This game crashes as soon as I make the first match. I am on chrome.

Let me know if you fix this and I’ll come back to play+rate it.

Fun game! I thought connecting the cable was an interesting mechanic with some potential.

The mechanics of trying to keep the elements on the plate while catching and merging them was surprisingly engaging and fun!

Fun game! A bit difficult at times.

It was fun to play. If only the cables could be reset to their original location somehow. As it is now they tend to glitch out and become unclickable

The little squidbilly thing cracked me up. I had fun!

Cute town!

Fun detective game

Fun little puzzle game! Nice artwork.

Though the way it has you ritualistically kill the mice has me feeling slightly concerned. I get that it is trying capture some of the mechanics you see in a lot of the clickbait mobile ads but to jigsaw the little guys like that seems a bit much.

I enjoyed the physics of the game, swinging wrecking balls and breaking things. In a way the jank made more fun as well - right up until it yeeted me a mile in the opposite direction of my ball and wedged me into a boundary wall.

Fun puzzle game to pass some time with

I had a lot of fun playing! It’s a really unique concept. You did a great job polishing it up too. The player’s little units were cute.

What is the license for use?

Ah, sorry, and thanks! I was fixated on getting through downloading everything your patreon provides. Great work! I love your style.

You’re missing this link:

I had to figure out what the link should be by looking at other examples.

Thanks for the buttons! They’re really slick!

(just fyi, filename has a typo)

Could you explain what you mean by shader? Does the full version come with glsl files? hlsl? gdshader?

I used some of these songs in my TowerStack Game:

https://rigg.itch.io/towerstack

It doesn’t want to work for me. It just shows this screen and doesn’t respond to input.
