thank you for playing, i appreciate you noticed the detail !

really great VFX work ! game is pretty fun, a bit too much furnished in informations maybe

i did arround 170(i think ?) i got pushed away when it went faster than my character speed, idea is interesting !

well known concept, as titanfall 2 did, but pushed a bit more into the puzzle side, very funny and great sound design !

very small, narrative, and simple game, yet leave a very cute and warming message, without saying i had “fun”, it was still a pretty pleasant experience, and the artworks are very great !

thank you very much ! im sure it goes right to the heart or the artists !

maybe a story is in developpement here 😉 thank you for playing !

spent too much time on this one, love the concept, very good coding, no glitch or bug even tho it has a lot of interfaces, i would have only ask for some songs, or at least a litte music

at first i found the concept really great, and it is, and the art is really just fitting perfectly, however, the game is waaaaay too hard, i honestly try harded for like 30 minutes and couldn’t do more than a few jumps before failing. i would either make a navigation raycast, or reduce easily by 2 the speed of the game

my personal best is arround 6 sec, good job, very fun !

love the challenge of making everything in ascii art, concept is very simple, but considering the time used, it’s amazing

concept is really nice, but damn it’s so hard ! i reached level 2 after like 2 hours of tryhard XD

thanks ! yeah we really focused on a good looking game, a bit too much, that’s mainly why there is no sounds 😅 but we are working on it !

thank you for your feedback, im really glad that people liked the art style, we were right to choose that 😁 for the SFX, we are releasing a new version soon 🙏

yeah sfx and musics were the kind of stuff we didn’t found time to implement ahah X) but we are working on it, thanks for the comment !

stay tuned, we are posting a newer version soon ;)

we lacked of time to implement most of the bugs, but we are working on it, thank you for your feedback !

really funny concept, sound design is really fun XD

very nice DA, cool concept, maybe a bit hard to understand between objects you can rotate, move, or both

this is so stupid but i love it XD, gameplay idea is really simple but funny, that’s enough to make me laugh so it’s perfect,

of course more than that, the graphics and sound design are really polished, really nice overall DA

thanks man !

the game has a great immersive potential, i think you should focus on lore and storytelling, cause there is already an ambiance. now, it needs more on the ambiance and feeback side, especially sound effect for collecting items, a background, and maybe a bit of details in the pixel art, aat least more than just black screen with tiles

i like the gameplay, but really wanted the scoring for that one, competition would have be mad

i noted it a bit tough because of the criteras of the jam, but i really do love it, making my own engine is kind of a dream, so huge respect !

thanks for your feedbacks ! yeah i’m kinda proud of the dialogue system 😁

thanks for your feedbacks ! i agree with you

thanks for your feedback, yeah unfortunately we forgot to put the Sprint in the controls, but it’s actually there 😅

thanks !

Such a great review 😉 really detailled and helpful, if i may, i have some explanations to provide to some of the bad points :

For the sound design… well the sound designer kinda left us alone 😅 that’s was really tough and we are really sad that we don’t have any sound, i agree that you loose a lot.

For the run button…there actually is 🙃 i guess we kinda forgot to put it in the controls(it’s ctrl)

For the settings button, it’s actually because we don’t have any settings, but it’s there by default and i forgot to remove it

For the end…well yeah, therés no button, i kinda « forgot », i say kinda tho, because, as for a lot of things, we really missed time(i mean REALLY like i created the lose and win scenes 20 minutes before the end, so i didn’t tough a button for losing and winning was worth to lose the jam submission 🥲)

very cool, love the da

Hello, im new on this jam, i wanted to know, i only have one week of availability, does the jam allow me to take one week instead of two, and mention it in the submission so that it’s taken in count ?

hi ! im so sorry for the time, i didn’t checked the comments since then, no worries about finding the solution, i understand, im letting you a hint below, and a spoiler at the bottom :

Hint every objects can be scaled, knowing that, there's a pot with brambles, i wanted to highlight it, but there is a key bellow you need to grab, but the brambles are on the way
Solution(spoiler) you have to scale up the magnifying glass and put it on the pedestal to burn the brambles

thanks ! and don't be sorry !  that's exactly what i wanted, i'm a big fan of outer wilds if you have the reference, so seeing people solving the puzzle in a completely unexcepted way is really satisfying for me X)

thank you for playing ! i'm planning to polish the game after the jam so yeah, navigation will be one of my main goal, and i'm noting you feedbacks :)

ah sorry i just spent 30 minutes replying but i didn't saw your answer X), yeah that's totally this, i think that's a good point you can keep in mind for the future, for us french game dev, this feature is a bit "obvious" because we just can't dev games without it(because majority got a WASD) but ifyou are using the english layout it's normal you may not have heard about it, anyway, happy to give some unusual feedbacks :)
PS : no matter your layout, you can play our game, just in case you get interested 😁

basically, as a french, i'm using the french keyboard, wich use a azerty instead of qwerty layout, 99% of the time the problem with gaming is that the classic wasd become zqsd, i'm assuming you didn't knew about that, so maybe that's something interesting for you in the future, unity input system is normally handling this, means that if you type for example "Z" in a french layout, the game consider it by it's position on the keyboard, so it will be considered the same input as a "W" from an english layout
