You have an incredible backbone. The mechanics worked really great together, the puzzles were smart, and the amount of content you managed to add in a 4 day jam, is so good. Very nice game!

I ALMOST KILLED THE BUG KING, BUT LACK OF ALCOHOL KILLED MY JORSE

(1 edit)

I really liked the chaotic gameplay of having to balance everything together, especially in the first gameplay, where you don't really know how each timer is reset. If I'd change anything, I'd use a font that is a little easier to read since you have to read a lot of timers at the same time, and time is crucial. But maybe, that added to the difficulty and the chaotic panic it causes that made me enjoy it':-) Great game! (also, how you managed to make such a polished game in only 4 days, is beyond me)

Very simple and effective way to use the jam's theme. I'd maybe make the countdown a little shorter, so you don't have to wait 10 seconds in order to get to sub 1 seconds, but maybe that's just my short attention span':) Nice entrie

It was a very fun concept. I really enjoyed the gameplay and the upgrades after every round where really satisfying. There was only one aspect I had a problem with. The spawn rate. There were rounds I would play and have to wait 10 seconds for the enemies to start spawning, or there were rounds I played perfectly without getting hit, but I'd still lose because not enough enemies were spawned for me to beat, in order to go to the next wave. Since the time is your health, and your enemies are your points to pass the wave, it felt very unfair, because even if you play perfectly, you could still lose. But you have a really good base.  I had a lot of fun maneuvering around enemies while shooting them, and only having one quirk (which isn't even a bug) on a 4 day game jam, is a major win. Good job

Really nice game. I really enjoyed the controls, it was really satisfying controlling the ship. If it were me, I would give the player a little less health to urge the player to pilot without constantly crushing, but at the same time give a little more fuel, to allow them to make those maneuvers, without crushing. Nut that is more of a personal preference, I see a lot of other people in the comments liked the generous health. Overall a very good submission. Great job

Incredibly polished game, for a 4 day jam. I always knew I was a bad typer, but that game hambled me even more':-) Great game

When I accidentally fed one frog to another I was shocked!! I encountered a bug, when I fed a frog 2  fruits too quickly, the food would count as one, but this kind of bugs are very normal in a jam, I just waited for the animation to end before I fed them. Fun little puzzle, congrats on managing to finish this Jam

There where a lot of fun rooms, and it was fun to explore all the dungeons on my first run. The one thing that I would change is the spawn rate of the stairs, because at one point I got them back to back, and when I lost, it was a bit tedious to have to wait 20 seconds just to get to the platforming stuff again. That being said, the artstyle and the music is very good, and it was a well made for a 4 game jam. Nice Job

Thanks for bringing the sprint glitch up. It happened to me too while testing the game, but I just thought my keyboard was acting up:'-) I really wanting to add those polishing touches, like sfx and some particles, but run out of time unfortunately. Thank you so much for taking the time to play my game, and give me this AMAZING feed back! Have a fun Jam!

It's true, I think I made some parts way too challenging':-) Thanks for the feedback, it is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the feedback. I tried to fine tune the mechanics as much as possible, in the time we had. It was really fun making it though. This is the first thing I'd work on if I decide to develop this game even further. Thanks for taking the time to play:)

Thanks! It was fun making and actually managing to combine all those mechanics together:-) Thanks for playing!

I really liked the feel of the speed. It was a bit hard for me to understand when the player could climb a wall or when he was going to launch. But you got a solid backbone, I would be nice to see a more polished version if you keep working it after the jam. Nice Work!

The artwork is so good! I liked how the monsters eyes lit in the dark as it stalks the player. If you were to continue development, I'd make it for the monster to actually attack you if you see it, instead of just following you. Nice Job

Hey, we have similar games. I tried to incorporate the theme by having the player trave back in time in each level in order to continue. Congrats on finishing the jam

At first I didnt think much of it, but after the 3rd level, it actually got fun. I really like the strategy you need, in order to win, and I liked a lot the slower levels that gave me time to think before I made my next move. Also, the hand drawn, sketchy artstyle, is really slept on. Nice work.

The mechanics are very fun, and I like how the artstyle works in your concept!

(Btw, are you the same person that submitted that sheep game last year? Dude, you are really consistent with your style, keep it going)

The artstyle looks very cool and I ike the concept, but my pc really strugles running the game:'-(.

(Btw, I think I remember you from last year, are you the guys that made that ink game? That was very cool. Really wanted told enjoy this one too, without my pc crashing every 2 minutes)

THIS GAME WAS QUACK. How you managed to make something like that is in only 4 days is beyond me. The artstyle and the animation in the start are incredible - so are the ingame assets. And you had me rinning for my life from the sun. Really incredible Job!!

You concept really fits this jam. The polish is really good, I really enjoyed it (I got something like 1485 in the second round, right as the clock hit 1483. I almost screamed) Really cool gam

It was fun. It was kind of hard to get at first. I never really got how to shoot. But I made by, by using the red guys to shield my other buddies.

THAT WAS SO DOPEEEEEEEEE. The animations, the mini games, oh my god, the relatable theme. The only thing I'd change is how steep the difficulty gets after around the 25 point mark. But I enjoyed it so much regardless. Incredible Job!

Once I realized there was a double jump, that was it.  The mechanics were really smooth and rewarding (and I dont know if you intended it, but I really liked finding was to double jump and skip a few parts of the level to get a better time). The only bug I encountered was that sometimes the shadow underneath the player would disappear, but considering you mad this game in 12 HOURS!! And only had one bug, that is really impressive. Great Job

Simple games that make you feel something are so good maan. The artwork is amazing, the sound design is great, and you can tell the game was made from your heart. Great Job!

The sound effects combined with the visuals made it really satisfying to play. The only thing that I would change, I probably making the health and the time left a single variable, and have a little time taken every time you take damage instead, because it was kind of hard for me to track both health and time at the same time. That being said, I liked the chaotic feel the endless mode had :)

Thanks for playing!!

Thanks for the feedback. Actually we have planend for better polished. He have created some assets for the rooms and animation for the enemies movement and attack, but we we unable to isert them in time. It was a fun gamejam though.

Really liked that one. The feel of the movement controller is great and the aty style was very pretty. If I were to add something it would be for the game to increase in difficulty as you go. But that is something that is overshadowed by the feel of speed in the game. Great game!

Hahahah the sound effects and the art are so funnyyy. Greate polish. Defintly one of the funnies game I played in the jam. You must be a fun person to be aroun. Good game!

I am actually in awe. This was not something I expected from a game jam. The controlls and the feel of the speed was sooooo good. The polish was unreal, and oh it was so fun to play. I have no notes. 10/10. Great job!!

The animation and art was so good!! I just found the button configuration a bit confusing. But maybe that was just me. That being said it was a very good concept, and I just have to say it again, THE ANIMATION WAS SO FUNNY AND PRETTY! Good job!

THE ART IS SO CUTE! The gameplay gave geometry dash vibes, it was fun. I really liked tha cut scene at the end. If you plan to continue working on the game I'dd add some music to make it a bit more imersive. It was a very fun game. Great job!

(1 edit)

Well made. The polish was there. The music was fun. If I were to make change something would be to give a different spin to the watermelon game, maybe with a power up or an added mechanic to give it a little more character. But it was a good excecution and fun to play. Nice job!

The web mechanic made it so fun and unique. It was a bit too hard at times. But that just forced in me to do some very cool and creative stuff with the web mechanic and I really enjoyed that. Very good game!

The control was very good and the AI idea was clever. I dont know if it meets the limitation since it tecnically has an end. But the game its self is enjoyable. Nice work!

It is a super cool concept, I enjoied so much. The only thing is that I believe it is a bit too difficult. The enemies fire really quckly and spawn at a rapid rate and tere are times you dont have the time to react before you die. But it was not such an issue. I still enjoyed it very much. The controlls are great, the concept (I'll say it again) SO GOOD, and I also really liked the way it looked. Great job!

Actually very nice. The controlls were smooth, the art was pretty. The only thing I'd change is for the bullets to be bigger visually. But then again that may have made the game a lot easier and not be as good of an option gameplay-wise, so it was probably fo the best. Good game!
