This was really well put together, the jump controls work really nicely and that's not always the easiest thing to do! Whatever system you used for ground checks and wall jumps worked really well.

Pleasantly surprised you managed to include a boss fight too, great work!

Love this, great choice of music and really responsive controls :) Like being able to lure the dragon in certain directions and running beneath it

I had all the same thoughts!
The charge is a little janky but otherwise this is all put together really well :)

Love the artwork, especially the final version :D

The first few upgrades took a lot of effort to get, but it wasn't too long until I had way more hearts than I could spend!

I noticed a few small problems that could have probably been caught with a bit more QA

  • The 'Level' of the autoclicker and upgrade never increases. Am I buying several level 1s, or is my level seemingly not increasing?
  • Spacebar seems to be accepted as input as the heart appear, but it doesn't count as a hug
  • The number being a float causes some rounding issues and is kind of a strange decision (I think this should be a ulong?). Hug exactly 10 times to hopefully see the issue I mean

Great work, you got a lot done in 45 hours!
P.S. As great as the music is, please include a mute button <3

Loved this! Especially the death loop, gave me a good laugh :D

Would have been nice to have some way to restore health, it starts to get very difficult, especially when the helicopter shows up.
Also would have been nice to see the moon gradually getting closer, though it was nice to see the sky getting darker which was a nice effect. Do the clouds stop after a certain point too? I wasn't paying attention to that.

Really impressive for such a short jam, great job!

This is like "Getting Over It" but somehow even more frustrating.
Please take that as a compliment :D

Very difficult for a multitude of reasons, but each one could be by design so it's hard to criticise (gravity/camera/platform speed)

Good job, I like that the UI/Instructions is part of the 3D environment instead of a UI element

This already has a ~ton~ of comments  so I'm gonna keep this short :D

Great game, hard to criticize!
Would have been nice to use the puzzle element (buttons) a bit more, as without that you're effectively just beating the same level twice.
Snakey bois felt a little slow, or maybe I'm just impatient

Otherwise, quality stuff. Love the colour palette :)

Really addicting! I managed to get a lap and a half before calling it quits.

The models and colour scheme are simple but really effective. I could see this being a popular mobile game if completing a lap took you to a new level with different obstacles.

I understand this is a single-input jam but it would have been nice to accept the 'd' key as the input too :D

Gravity or the mass of the car is probably a bit too low, but otherwise it's really hard to critique this. Great job!

Really enjoyed this! Addicting & challenging
Managed to beat the last level in 22 tries which I thought was quite good. Would have been nice to have a running total across each scene.

The only issue I noticed is that your speed sometimes doesn't seem to completely reset when you respawn and, I think, because of the friction with the ground, your speed increases slightly quicker when airbourne (though this may have been the effect you wanted)

Good stuff!

Really impressive visuals!
Couldn't figure out where to go after the torches though :(

Thanks a lot!
I was unable to recreate the cinnamon bug, no idea what might have happened :(

Seems to crash on startup, can't play :(

I couldn't figure out how to place the port either :( But I was still able to cross the sea if the land was less than 3 tiles away :D

Really relaxing game, good job

Quite possibly the strangest game I've ever played. Fun though!

Doesn't have an exe to run, don't  think I can play it

Really need to upload an exe, I can't load a .yyz file

Yes, the wall jump is *definitely* a feature.
It's a bug I was aware of for a really long time, but fixing it would have been a lot of hassle and time-consuming, so i'm glad to hear you actually enjoy it haha

Agree with the criticism entirely! I did last minute try to code in a sound effect on getting hit, but for some reason it just wasn't working and we had to submit. The second level was also rushed a bit due to time constraints. Glad you enjoyed it!

Can confirm killing Zeus did nothing, great game though

Worked fine for me, it installs to Program Files(x86)\Made in GameMaker Studio 2. Might be a good idea to uninstall any other game in there first

Doesn't look like it's uploaded anywhere, maybe stick a link to a download in the comments?

Can't run the .exe by itself, you need to upload all of the other files in the folder after you export it (zip it all up)
