I've enjoyed this story immensely. The themes, the writing, the dialogue, the pace, the characters... I don't think there's a single weak link there. The ambiguity of the ending feels correct in a narrative where everything is so uncertain and I like how it was present in my mind for days after I've finished the story.

oh, you changed Edgar's line... I guess it works in the context of aliteration but I liked the original better
