Hello, yes — the project is still alive, but it’s currently on hold due to financial limitations. At the moment, I’m focusing on smaller, faster-to-complete projects to generate income, which will eventually help fund and continue development of this bigger project. Thanks for your patience and support!

Thank you for your comment and support. Yes, I’m a bit disappointed as well, but it has been a very valuable learning experience.
Homebrew Factory is still quite a new platform (a little over a year old), and it doesn’t yet have much traffic compared to Kickstarter, where some retro campaigns can get funded within just a few hours.
I’m planning to launch a Kickstarter campaign soon for Escape from Blackwood Camp, to fund the physical version of the game, including a box, a high-quality illustration for the cartridge created by a professional artist, as well as rewards such as stickers and other goodies.
See you soon, my friend!
Certainly, that's completely normal. This is just a prototype version intended to help you visualize what this project could be like and to pique your interest in following its development. Currently, I'm working on an advanced version with features such as a food system, dinosaur hunting, village construction, and traps. For more information, check out my Patreon page.
The idea is to create a completely insane game with the choices one can make with our character. We can imagine rebuilding a rather normal life after prison, making legal and inconsequential choices, or we can put ourselves in the shoes of a very bad, completely unhealthy, heartless, and sexually deranged character.
