Thank you — genuinely, this is the most useful feedback I've had.
You were right on both bugs, and I'm working on them now. Production really is tied to the bees' flight paths, so a bigger window slows you down — sorting it so output stays constant regardless of screen size. And the "time to afford" estimate reads an instantaneous rate that swings as the bees come and go in waves, hence "2 seconds" one moment and "never" the next — smoothing that out too.
The busywork point is the one that stuck with me, though. You're right that the every-40-seconds thing is a chore dressed up as a bonus, and I'm going back through the features to make sure each one actually earns its place and has meaning, rather than just being something to do.
Really appreciate you writing all that out. If you get further and hit more, I'd love to hear it.
