Thanks and you are right it was just a prototype for the jam, I do plan on improving it in teh future and make a few  more changes.  Or complete ly start over since I lost the original game files.

Love these maps they are useful for some one like me who sucks at map making right now.

I know I prefer to work on the story being a writer, I can create maps but  am not that good yet at creating them.

Yes I cheated on the one map I am not that good yet in my map creation. go ahead and rass me about that I know it looks bad when people do that. :)

Thanks I know I have a few things to do with and I use the idea on the text. I will have to look into the bugs.

Thanks it wasn't  complete when i put it up

Let me see if I can replicate it .

Funny it worked when I just tried it . Did id happen later in the game?

Other than that, I love the game.

that was the point of it, did you at least figure it out.

(1 edit)

Thanks that was what I was going for goof and fun

Thanks for the kind words about a game I put togeather for a game jam I was part. I am currently working on a better version of the game using some old hand drawn maps I made years ago.

I am also reworking the story and characters a bit as well.

This remings me of Ghost and Ghouls for the NES but much more fun to pla

Working on fine tuning

thanks, I am still figuring out how to make the game more challenging yet, so it is a work on progress

thanks

I plan on fixing some issues with controls and such

I had a few i knew i forgot to fix apparently. As for the computer if you touched it with the character there was a platform in the center of the room that would take you to the top and to the boss level

I guess I will be the first here

1. I am Paul and well I have always been interested in making my own games

2.No I did nit particapte in last year's jam since I didn't know about these till Dec (I joined in on the Secret Santa Jam) My reason for joining is that I want to learn some new game engines beside RPG Maker

3> I am fan of JRPG games the art style is one that I have always liked, I have like pixel art games due to their simplistic design  and art style.

4.I am versed a bit in RPG Maker more specifically RPG Maker VX Ace, I created my first RPG game in Dec with it. It is not much but it was my first attempt at it you can find in on my itch.io page.

5. I have several passions, one is video, the other two are Retro gaming and game design, so I have combined all three on my youtube channel

6. My goals for this jam is to learn some new game engines more specifically I would like to learn Unity a bit more .
