Hi!, it's me again, RetroBull who wrote about the upgrade back in April-May (I don't remember exactly when). I'm still playing Hotline miami Redux - Redux, and today I was wondering if there's any progress on updating this resource, and if so, did my idea about hardcore and masks get a boost for development, or was it immediately discarded? (And yes, I'm still using the damn translator =] )

Suggestion: Ability to use gameplay effects of masks from Hardcore mode in normal mode by changing the skin
I think the idea will be useful and interesting for players: add the ability to use gameplay effects of masks from Hardcore to normal mode if you select an alternative skin of this mask (via A and D when selecting).
Example: Tony's mask. In Hardcore, it has a unique effect that enhances gameplay. My suggestion is that when choosing a mask skin in normal mode (for example, a more shabby one), this skin should activate the gameplay effect from Hardcore, without having to turn on the mode itself.
This is not about visuals, but about gameplay properties. Such a system will give more freedom in customizing the style of play and will allow you to experiment with mask effects without limiting the player to the framework of one mode
I use a damn translator and that's probably why it's hard for me to get my point across to you
Hello! I would like to share my impressions and suggestion regarding Hotline Miami Redux.
The game left a great impression - the original was good, but the Redux version feels even better: visually more pleasant, gameplay is fresher and overall feels like a more developed experience. Thank you for the work done and attention to detail!
I have a suggestion regarding masks. It would be interesting if in normal mode masks had the same properties as in hardcore. For example, Graham's mask in hardcore allows you to take a crowbar with you, but in normal mode this is not possible. Or Tony's mask - if when changing the skin in normal mode it was also impossible to take a weapon (as it is implemented in hardcore), this would make the gameplay fairer and more interesting. Now changing the skin allows you to bypass this limitation, and the uniqueness of the mask is lost.
If the implementation of such a function is possible, I would be very grateful!!!
