Thanks for the kind words! I've actually got a new build of the game ready that includes cutscene skipping and CPU balancing with the spins which I plan to upload when the voting is done. Before submitting Backyard Bash to the jam, I was usually able to beat the CPU spin count during testing, but perhaps it's because I've had so much practice with games like Mario Party in the past. The new update should fix some of these issues should anyone want to try and improve their overall ticket count. Thanks for playing!

thanks for the feedback! I added random directional changes to further emphasize the dizzy feature. The more you spin the dizzier you get and the dizzier you are, the more often you get thrown into a different direction occasionally. So its a trade off for when you finally finish the race and get lots of points for the dizzy multiplier. But I can understand that feature might not work for everyone - I could always just take that feature out in a future update. It is definitely possible to spin faster than the CPU's and beat the race! I made sure of it before I submitted the game! I appreciate the words though, thanks for playing my game!

A cool idea, and I could see a lot of very interesting gameplay choices with this sort of idea. I like the setting for the game, and the overall atmosphere. Good job!

I really like the concept as a mechanic, and the art style and sound design was really good too! I had some difficulty getting used to the controls, and I think enemies should not be able to shoot through the ball. I had fun though, good job!

This game is really relaxing and also very engaging. I love the music, it was a perfect fit for this kinda game. I did have a few times where some bombs seemed to spawn right in front of me so maybe the spawn distance for debris could be a bit further, but I had a ton of fun with this one. Great job!

I really like the art and ui! the wheel felt really satisfying to spin -  I think it was the sound design. Great job!

Really neat idea that I think was executed great! I suck at puzzle games but I quite enjoy ones that are in this sort of style. This game had me writing down things, making little notes as I pieced together the number slowly. Really enjoyed it, great job!

A really fun game! It's quite chaotic, but I really love that style of game. The art style is fantastic and I love some of the little moments like smacking the rat with the hammer -  made me laugh. The only problem I had was with the screen. I couldn't tell what needed to be done sometimes. I had a ton of fun though, great job!

Thanks for the comment! Yeah during the development I had to up the spin speed of the CPU's because I was consistently destroying them. This is probably because I knew everything about the game though lol. Each CPU actually has a spin level and their spin speed is determined by that number (with some variations in speed to keep things interesting)

Thank you for the kind words. I basically worked 24/7 on this for the week. I was in the zone lol

Thanks so much for the kind words! I didn't realize so much could be done in a week until I entered a game jam haha. Perhaps if I continue development I could add an option to reverse spin direction for those that prefer going the other way. Thanks for playing!

This one was a ton of fun! It took me a minute to figure out how to play properly, but once I was spinning, it was a ton of fun throwing myself against enemies. Using both the walls or the other wrestler to attach yourself for a spin is really good idea too! I couldn't see any extra points being assigned for bigger or faster swings, and I found the fastest way to get points was just to mash the left and right mouse button in front of the wrestler (unless I'm missing something), so a point system based on spin and speed when you land a hit could be cool! I had a lot of fun though, and will probably come back just to see how hard of a hit I can get swinging around those poles.

Something about this game was super addicting.  It had a great mix of nice visuals, and very gameplay. Took me a minute to figure out how to properly play, but once I learned the game loop I was locked in. I'll definitely be returning to play this one again soon!

The narration was the best so far if any of the games I've played. Something about it just kept me engaged even though I had no idea how to properly attack and land hits. For some reason I just kept trying and coming back lol

This one was fun! Always enjoyable to watch everything around you get destroyed, though I would have prefered maybe if it was a pre-made village or town instead of randomly generated buildings when you move so I could see all of the destruction at the end and the entire town gone. overall though, I had a lot of fun. good job!

Nice visual style and decent amount of enemy type. I put all my powerups into attack so by the end of the round I was absolutely destroying everyone which is always fun lol. it's a nice balance between attacking, defending and repairing. Nice job!

Big fan of the art style for this game, but I found the controls a bit confusing. Fun game though!

I like the concept, and the upgrades are pretty unique. Though maybe there could have been an extra layer to the spinning to keep things more engaging while you gain points

Really neat concept, it fits the theme so well! I also like the pace that you get the upgrades, keeps it very engaging. I did have some trouble getting the crank to rotate all the way. Maybe once you've clicked on it, its locked to the gun and you could just rotate your mouse in a circle to fire the gun. Had a lot of fun though, great job!

Cool concept, it fits well with the theme and I could see a lot of fun a whacky variations for the car! I did have trouble turning, but I appreciate you just spawning the car back on the road instead of restarting the game. Good job!

Interesting concept and a nice art style! It got tough managing all the different dogs as the game continued, but that challenge kept it really engagine. Nice job!

Interesting concept and a nice art style to go along with it. Good stories told through the dialogue too. Good job!

Fun game! It's really satisfying watching my pile of stuff grow as a wreak havoc. Once I started picking up the houses I starting thinking about just how massive of a scale you could go with the stuff your tornado could pick up. I had a lot of fun, good job!

I suck at puzzle games but I had so much fun with this one! Awesome visual style and I love the perspective. Really unique idea too that was very well executed. Awesome Job!

Love the concept. It felt very unique and has a lot of potential for gameplay with the gliding and sticky side of the character! Great visuals and sound design too.

The first thing I noticed was just how incredible the music was in this one! Very powerful and really supports the main idea of the game. Love the idea too, very unique. Good job!

Fun game, and a lot of personality with the alien. Took me a minute to realize I had to press again to dive, but it was fun timing it with my spin and the distance left to the water. Good job!

Super unique game and very creative with the theme. The gameplay feels great, and I love the extra stuff like shooting goals. You could spend a lot of time in this one perfecting your grass cutting skills!

This is a solid game! I absolutely love the art style, sound design and feeling of the game. It was super charming and has a lot of personality. I really enjoyed having to time multiple spins together at once. I had a lot of fun, great job!

The concept is really cool, and it feels really polished! Love how the music changes depending on if you're in game or learning a new mechanic! I had some difficulty telling some blocks apart, but overall I had a lot of fun with this game. Good job!

A really cool concept, and a ton of fun! It took me a few minutes to figure out what I was doing, but once I understood it was hard to stop playing. Love the little details like the resources going back up the hole, and all the upgrades felt really nice. I was always like "Yes I can afford the next level for that upgrade" which is such a nice feeling. Great job on this one!

Such a cool concept! Just flipping around the coin itself was really fun. The day and night idea is a really cool feature that, if further developed, could really produce some engaging gameplay. A cool feature to add might be the ability to flip again mid air as I found myself stuck on the day and night platforms with no real way to control if I landed correctly other than luck. I still had a ton of fun with this one. Good job!

This game is super polished for only 7 days of work! I absolutely love the art, animations, and overall vision for the game. I do wish I could've moved faster, but I still had a ton of fun with this one. Great job!

Wow the game is really polished! All the UI, story and sound design stuff was on point! Though I think it was a bit overwhelming at first as there were soo many options to look through when building your report. Once I got the hang of it though, it was really fun! Awesome job!

This game was so unpredictable but in the best way possible. It has so much personality, and I found myself laughing all the way through! You never knew what was going to happen next, and it was told in a way that was super engaging. Awesome Job!

Cute little game! It's got a lotta personality to it. Good job!

This is a really cool concept with lots of potential if you continued to develop it after the jam! I also really like how chaotic and fast paced it is. It's got a nice level of polish with the interaction ui stuff as well. Good job!

Interesting concept, I could see a lot of cool gameplay Ideas from this. Good job!

Super unique idea and suprisingly addictive! It felt super satisfying to to get the head shots against enemies, and I also really loved the sound design. I did notice that you could shoot even when your weapon was holstered, but overall I had a lot of fun with this one

Really nice sound design -  very atmospheric! I also like the graphics a lot too. Good job!
