I had fun playing, I also soft locked myself lol. very gooda game. I did notice the background like I don't know how to explain it the slivers glitching apart, with the tile map? I also had the same issue with unity a few years ago and there is a way to fix it, sadly I don't remember how I fixed it I just wanted to let you know it's possible!
Sorry if this question was previously answered, but is there a limit to team sizes? Asking because currently it's just me and another programmer, and we were thinking about expanding the team to include a writer and composer and wanted to know if this went over a limit, or if there was no limit to team size?
It's very impressive given the timeframe, the controls feel nice, and I love the implementations of the screen getting bloodier the lower your health gets it adds to the experience; the level design was very good too, I do agree with some of the other comments on the lighting being a bit much, but very good game overall! :)
thank you for playing and thank you very much for the notes. The controller is very clunky I probably should have gone back to tweak it out a bit more, and thanks for the note on clamping the length I've had issues before when trying to implement movement like that where diagonals are quicker, but I haven't thought about clamping the distance, thanks again for the insight and for suggestions for the dialogue!
I like the music it sets the mood right away the art style is very unique and ties into the music well, I did notice along with some of the other commenters the direction facing issue it seems to be happening after the player attacks an enemy and kills them the player seems to remain facing the direction of the "dead" enemies, I hope this helps fun game overall though.
