alright, i played till i beat the 3rd zone and got the 10 cost prestige upgrade, and so far, here's my review:
art style and design looks amazing imo, good job!
gameplay was cool, at first when i read "deck builder, but not a roguelike but a incremental" i instantly clicked onto it. then i loaded in and thought "this looks like a roguelike" before i lost the first trial and then later, called it "a deckbuilding, roguelite, incremental game" as it still has some roguelite elements. as a fan of both incrementals and roguelikes, I say it's pretty well done, however i can't say I'm a professional in the roguelike part.
and because it shares some roguelike features, the replay ability is quite high i think.
Overall, I'd give this a 9/10
(one thing i would love it the ability to remove one of the effects on a card, ex: the thing that makes the energy reduction one use being removed, or maybe it could just make it a 2 use card?)
9.5/10 gameplay imo, i got to the 30's with a build focused on economy, and then had some heals and dmg with the "deal dmg when healing" totem,
my only issue is that there's a cap to money, if you end up adding something that lets the cap increase, then maybe to remove total entity's try and make multi value chips? (5, 10, 20, 50, 100, etc.),
and other than that i don't have much more to say that other comments don't already cover, other than maybe a main menu where you can see your last runs stats, and a way to shrink the application.
but, i would def recommend trying this game if you like deckbuilders/rougelikes!
i hope you have a wonderful 2026 dev! (and you who is reading this too!)
heh, 69.
"Major update - Itch version catches up with Steam69 days ago"
also, made it to ascension 5 good gameplay loop, got ruined by evils backing each others up and certain roles when one lies not confirming another lied/is evil.
