I literally have a recurring where I’m scrambling through the house grabbing stuff to get out in an emergency. (I’ve since packed a ready bag, don’t worry.) can’t wait to bring the stress of that nightmare to the table.

I wonder how well this work as a direct prequel to NYZ. I hope I can drive right from the burbs into Manhattan. (Big mistake!)

Thanks for all your work.  Looking forward to playing!

Excellent! Thank you. I’ll check this out. Fingers crossed it’s not too cold and dark.

just downloaded and I’m excited to play. Question about printing though. Is there a format that allows  the pages to be printed and assembled like a real book? It seems like “pages” should do that but I don’t think it would turn out the way I’m hoping if they’re folded and stapled together like a book. I hope this makes sense. Thank you!

I finally got the time to venture through the waste lands of New York.

Things were looking up for a while. Axel made it out of Harlem with an extra skill point, eventually made friends with a dog, Julia, traded a map for a pistol and took down a snow leopard to flaunt its pelt to would-be attackers. Despite all this good luck Axel was inevitably eaten by a “tamed” aggressive Zombie. LOST but not forgotten.
Incredibly tense and enjoyable game. Great work.

Just played the first two adventures of this game. Both very satisfying and I had a great time with each challenge.

I often like to model my heros off of characters I already know. About to start another journey through the castle Charon with Wolverine. I replaced the last D6 characteristic with a D4 and gave him his classic healing factor. The catch is that it can be rolled every round but you only gain health if it out rolls BOTH (or maybe just one) of the challenge dice. Might take him to face off against Jarl after crushing some cultists.

Thanks a lot for a great game. Looking forward to playing the rest in the series.

(Also, not sure if others are doing this but I printed two adventures back to back on one sheet. So just unfold to get a new one.)
