Yeah, it's so fascinating to see both of us having the same, rough idea, yet implementing it so differently. >v< Your take is so cool too. :D
And yes, the protagonist's species isn't specified as we wanted it to be like a player's self insert. Though we were toying around with the idea of it being a mouse, perhaps. :>c
Next game stork/heron main character for sure. ;>

Cool game! :D
I played it a few times, taking the paths and dialogue options I missed in previous runs. There's definitely lots to explore and a good amount of choices the player can pick from. :> I enjoyed getting to meet the different characters. The art is pretty cute. ^^ And I love the humor that was sprinkled throughout the game. :D
A good verticle slice of a game. ^^ All that's missing is some polish but yk how jams are. >v<
How sweet. ^^ I always love to see people doing visual novels for jams. :>
Simple yet charming story. The art is absolutely adorable and I could see myself getting attached to the characters already. >v< And I do love the mix of gameplay between singing and calming yourself down. I felt like the timer of the gameplay sections was a bit tight tho. ^^'
Would love to see more of Max' story being told. :>c
Lovely entry for a first game. :D Simple yet cute. :>c
The connection to the jam theme was a bit weak but it's alright. ^^' Perhaps the little story bit about learning a runic language from the game description could be reflected in the game more. Just imagine the sergals having super complicated orders in form of icons and you have to decode it into actual orders. >v< "Borga! :D Double cheese! uvu Nuu pickles! >:(" Hehe
Regardless, hope y'all had fun this jam. ^^
Fun lil text adventure. :>
The story is quite simple (no shame in that at all) and I did enjoy the way you tied it into the jam theme. :D Navigating the map and exploring the town was fun, reading up on what happened to the ghost town. The ending was a nice twist too. :>
Would have wished for maybe more dialogue choices, giving the player more decisions to make and alternate routes to discover. Also, I'm not sure if Twine supports audio like background music or sound effects but maybe that could help with the immersion as well. :D I know the theme is literally "Silent" but... doesn't HAVE to be all silent, yk? ^^' Just an idea tho. :>
What a cool entry! ^^
I do love the interpretation of the theme and I didn't expect to see a detective game. :D I was a little confused at first how the rules of the game worked. Playing around with the yarn and linking up evidence and statements really helped. Tho as others already mentioned, unlinking yarn again would be helpful. >v<
I would love to see more cases with a more in-depth stories to follow. :D
Very solid entry! ^^
The gameplay fits the theme perfectly and it was fun navigating in the dark with it... or even when constrained without it. >v< The art style and visuals are on point and I did enjoy the retro aesthetic. :> The sound design is minimalistic but I think it fits the vibe well. :>
As others already mentioned, checkpoints or a saving mechanic would really help as it's quite easy to get caught and start all over. That being said, the monster design is amazing. We so need more of daddy long beak. <3
Still tho, very impressive being a solo entry. Keep up the good work! ^^
The fighting felt pretty fun and I enjoyed the beat 'em up style while also dodging the enemies/projectiles. The spooky vibe and art style does set the tone nicely. :>
As the previous comments already mentioned tho, more communication to the player would be neat. It wasn't exactly clear what the goal is or what each individual upgrade does.
But I could imagine the game being a blast with more enemies with different behaviours as well as some weapons or special moves. ^^
What a charming entry. ^^
Took me a moment to figure out what you are supposed to do but once I understood things, it was fun. :D Tho I felt like you'd be pretty much always better off just remaining at the lowest attack range for maximum reaction time. Perhaps the microphone could be implemented in another way because it is a very cool idea.
Hope your artist is feeling better by now btw. :< The plushies still had lotsa charm and honestly kudos for pushing through still. ^^ Do the main character plushs have names btw? :>c
I enjoyed it! :D
The art stlye is pretty and the intro cutscene is a very nice touch. ^^ The characters and environment are very well drawn too. :> The vibe of the game is pretty fitting.
The game is pretty short but that is alright. The sonar is a cool idea but ultimately it felt a bit like a chore to use. Perhaps the screen could stay visible for a bit longer or there could be more gimmicks to it.
Either way, it was still a good experience. :>
Ooooh, this one really was a pleasant surprise. ^^
Something about this game felt so organic and nice. Even as somebody who doesn't know much about sign language, maybe two or three words, I was able figured it out. :D Such a creative interpretation of the theme. I would so love to see more of this, maybe even with more complex puzzles that require cross-examination and listening to multiple NPCs before judging. :D
Great job guys! ^^
Simple lil game. :>
Was a bit confused on what to do/what the goal was but figured it out eventually. :> (Reading the game description helps XD) I do like the creepy visual style but I am a bit lost on how the game connects to furries or the theme of "Silent". >v< Guess it's more of an abstract interpretation. ^^'
This one really amazed me. Such a simple yet intriguing concept! :D
The sound design is perfect and the visuals are so pretty too! Such a playful approach. :>
I was able to solve the first two constellations but for Draco, I had to google what it looks like because I didn't check the tail is just a 1D line. ^^' Some more/clearer hints there could have helped.
Still tho, I loved it! Great job, birb. :>c
What a charming game! ^^ Definitely one of my favorites. :>
The kind of surreal artstyle is very fun and the characters are very cute. ^^ The soundstracks are amazing, of course! So cool you managed to make a total of five in such a short time! :o
It was a bit hard at first to grasp what you are supposed to press when. >v< A refined tutorial could definitely help. But I figured it out eventually. And when I did, this beat bird was UNSTOPPABLE! HAHA. >:D
Keep up the good work, frens. ;D
Such a lovely game! ^^
Very fun idea to drift through space, listening to radio signals for orientation. The art and music and general vibe are as always on point! I always love how you give every game you make named characters of different animal species. :> Species variety is so important. uvu
The pacing was well done. Didn't find the game too difficult or easy. I was a little confused at first that the grey blocks mimic the shape of a nearby brown block. Oh, and that for the ending that you had to both *bleep* AND *bleep* the *bleep* in order to *bleep* it. >v<
Amazing work, ears! Seriously can't wait for your next game. :>
Cute lil game. :>
Fun idea for an extraction game. ^^ Love the simple pixel art aesthetic and retro sound effects. Some background music could have been nice, even it's just some ambience, but the lack of it didn't ruin my experience. :>
Sneaking around to collect the different items was fun but I often felt simply outrunning the enemies and grabbing everything was more efficient. >v< Just getting swarmed on the elevator was rough but... skill issue, am I right? XD
Great job! Especially being a solo project. :>
Oooh, I enjoyed it very much. ^^
Love the limited color pallete; great choice! Also the full arts of the characters look so good. Being able to pick your own loadout and choose to play aggressive and deadly vs. sneaky and silent was a great game design choice too. ^^ Tho I felt like playing sneaky was too easy while playing aggressive was too hard with no healing items (afaik). Good idea to implement multiple endings for replayability too. :>
All in all, very good job! ^^
Lovely lil game. :>
Had some struggles at first finding what constitutes as the semicolon button as I am not using a QWERTY keyboard. ^^' (On QWERTZ it's Ö btw >v<) Godot uses physical key location by default but you can change it to the symbol it represents too. :>
Other than that, I enjoyed the general vibe and pixel art and a very comfy soundtrack too. ^^ Good job. :>
Glad I waited to try this one out cus it seems to work now. ^^
Fun idea of a survival horror game. I enjoyed the story at the start, giving us a bit of info about our main character. The gameplay was interesting but unfortunately I didn't quite understand it. Pretty cool there are multiple ways to get into the house like the main door and the garage door. But after that, I was kinda stuck. I found out that you can barricade the window and that there's a security system. But I kept getting game overs inside the house, even though the monster was nowhere near me. Some player feeback on what happened and why you lost would be really helpful, given this isn't a bug and I wasn't supposed to game over there.
Art of the game is pretty cool and I enjoyed the overall vibe. ^^ The game was just a bit dark at times and it was hard to navigate. Games like this usually start with a "please set your screen so bright that you can barely see this" screen. I would consider adding that. :>
Hmmm, unfortunate that it's not playable. Would have really loved to give it a try. :> Hard to vote with it not playable of course but here are my thoughts. :>
I think the game looks very visually pleasing. :D Love the UI design and the art of the different characters. :D The idea of having to block fake accounts sounds really cool and I wish I could have given it a try. Definitely let us all know if you get to make it playable one day. :D
Cool atmosphere! Loved the different spaces and colors of the cave. Also a really cool idea of having to type your actions to do them. Adds a bit of hecticness to the game when you are trying to hide which is nice! :D
I would suggest some more thought-out level design tho. It was quite easy to miss important items and get lost, not knowing where to go next. Yeah, I suppose a part of that game is the feeling of getting lost but have a look into how light and different shapes can manipulate a player into going where you want them to go. It's quite fascinating. ^^
Ooooh, always love me a good rhythm game! ^^ Was very fun to play along the music. Some notes were unfortunately not quite synced with the music and on beat however. :/ Did enjoy seeing the higher difficulty levels include multiple notes on the same beat tho. ^^ Also a unique visual style. :> Was cool building up those quotes on the screen while you are dancing. Just would have wished for a stronger tie in to the furry theme, maybe by having the red dudes have cat ears or such. ^^'
Ooooh, this is a really fun idea! :D The idea of blocking Medusa's sight is really cool! Enjoyed this as a fun lil puzzle game. :> It was a little hard telling what was going on sometimes. Like sometimes I thought I was screwed, Medusa approached me with the mirror nearby and I won anyways. ^^' Some more feedback on that could be nice. :>
But nice soundtrack, SFX and NES aesthetics. I liked it! ^^
Oooh, this is a really cool idea, having colorful objects only appear when you get close, so you have to react to obstacles in time. :o Love the sprites of the different characters too and interacting with them, seeing what they have to say. Gameplay was a bit finicky at times. Sometimes got stuck and didn't know why. Still enjoyed it though and would love to see more of this! ^^
Ooooh, text adventure! Always love seeing those. ^^ Was fun following along the story and picking between the different options. Also loved the heartbeat SFX that played during gameplay to not be completely silent but also give us a bit of mood. Would love seeing this being expanded with other types of environmental SFX. Also loved the little ending GIF :>
Fun story game. :D I enjoyed learned more about the characters and seeing what they are up to/how they react to things. The character designs are pretty cool! Just would have wished for polish on the UI art as well as some music and SFX, but alas, it's a game jam. Something always needs to be dropped in favour of time for other things. ^^' The little Candy Crush sections felt neat but I was honestly more interested in the VN part of the game. ^^' Still, glad I was able to play it. :>
Interesting take on a puzzle game! It's like Candy Crush but cooler. XD Was fun having to figure out how to connect one node to the other by connecting blocks of the same color. Just was a bit frustrating tho when RNG isn't in your favour and doesn't respawn new blocks of the color you need. Also would be neat if you could control the camera yourself, at least to some degree. The snapping to last region you worked on feels a bit odd. Either way, I still enjoyed it! ^^ Would have wished for a stronger tie in to the furry theme tho.
Oh, this is a surprisngly cool one. :o Really enjoyed the story and the visual style. Definitely something I relate to, struggling with money and missing opportunities you feel bad about afterwards. Also enjoyed the sound design and the visuals like being overwhealmed by your own thoughts. Great job! :D
Ooooh, fun idea! ^^ I wasn't quite sure what I had to do at the beginning and didn't realize you had to whack the red boxes to get the flow of packages back. But once I did, this was fun. :D Seeing how long you can go with packages botteling up more and more is a fun idea. :D
Would have wished for a stronger tie in to the furry theme tho. :/
