A while ago, one of my amazing customers shared a screenshot with me using my icons with a top-down map, and they mentioned that they were using Gif’s map along with my icons. Since we use different color palettes, they don’t look completely identical, but that user intentionally used that slight difference to create a clearer visual distinction between the UI elements and the map. 
(Sorry for the delay in my response—I wanted to check if I could share this information, and they confirmed that I could mention which artist they were using.) Since Gif has some free tilesets, you might want to check them out and see if they work for you!
I’ll also take a look at other artists’ works to see if I can find any good recommendations.

Additionally, I’m currently planning to release tilesets that will perfectly align with each theme of my icon sets. I’d love for them to be helpful to you when they’re available.
