Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed!

(1 edit)

There’s not much to read, but here you are!

Thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing!

There’s a certain irony to using what’s supposed to be patriotic music to turn something into a clown show.

Thank you!

Thank you for playing!

Democracy is not an option. Wait….

High praise! This pleases the court.

This is such a throwback to the whole beached whale incident. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to rate because I’m playing on a tablet with a keyboard and a stylus, which doesn’t have right click. Looks fun though!

Quite fun! I managed to win after a couple tries and was very happy with that. EAGL TO THE MOON!

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get this working well on my tablet. Not sure if my screen was too big or something maybe? It ran fine and I got into the level, but all I could do was tap wasd and hear bloops and creating black squares. I feel like the highlighting that was supposed to tell me where the squares go wasn’t working (or maybe I’m misunderstanding). Either way, since it was prob tech issues on my end, I didn’t want to rate and potentially drag down your score.

Enjoyable and well put together! The environment is really solid. My only suggestions would be to really make the bullets nice and large so they stand out, and to find a sound effect that gives them a nice oomph. Great work!

I love to see the helldiver’s esque QuickTime rear its heading mew places. This was a neat way to apply it. I struggled with the size of the combos and the volume of enemies. Great atmosphere!

Really solid storytelling, you manage to do a lot with relatively little.

Very intense and challenging. I really like the base building mechanics.

I enjoyed this - congrats on your first game and your first GWJ submission! The controls were a bit tough and I got disoriented quite quickly in the pitch black, but overall it was still quite fun!

A neat take on snake!

Very cute! A solid entry for your first GWJ submission!

Playing on tablet with a stylus instead of a mouse made for a few challenges, but overall, quite cool!

Neat concept! I think it would have helped me to have some hints for when I got stuck, but other than that, well done!

The gauge only goes down from where it starts until you lose, there’s not exactly a programmed win condition, unfortunately.

Thanks for playing!

There’s no penalty for letting the cases fal (well…other than performance. Oops, memory leak…)

I’d love to claim that there’s no win condition because one must remain constantly vigilant against fascism….but it’s more because I joined the jam only on Thursday and my main focus this time around was on putting together consistently styled art.

Thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing!

Neat concept! I had a bit of a hard time with it, but I think that was a skill issue on my part, since I don’t play platformers much.

Managedto get to about level 50 before my tablet started having performance issues. Solidly entertaining. I love when people do games about nuclear physics :)

Super well executed - lovely art, audio, and overall design that comes together into a very cohesive game.

I like focussing on particle decay - this was a route I’d considered but ultimately didn’t go down. That said, I had a bit of a hard time understanding how to operate the equipment…but realistically, I probably just didn’t read the instructions well enough. I’m a bit tired. Neat take, well executed overall!

It was definitely a bit of last-minute thematic masking. I think if I were to do it again, I’d have added some sort of sounds or visual indicators to support it.

Thank you for playing!

Great intro scene! The gameplay was pretty challenging for me, the backing track and the enemy barks were great :) Great work!

Visuals are great. For some reason the spells weren’t working for me? Might be user error on my part!

Either way, the music is one of the best for the games with the acapella wildcard, of the ones I’ve played so far.

I enjoyed this! I had a very hard time tuning the timed traps, but otherwise love the game. Well done!

Well executed on the acapella wildcard! Those tentacle physics are amazing!

This was adorable and hilarious! Well executed!

The ending had me CACKLING!

It’s a nice touch that the X in the font is a crossbones. A solid pirate game with decent ship combat and trading! Well done!

I’m impressed that the seagull noises were actually raw sounds that Saryah made, spot on. I enjoyed this, it was fun to try out the different items (although I do think the beachball should have been successful with the Seal, haha!). Great work!

A good take on the acapella wildcard! Great work :)

I enjoyed this one quite a bit - even though the exploration was simplified down to an achievable level, I really found myself wanting to explore. Balancing food / money was definitely a challenge. Good work!

I enjoyed the writing, and greatly appreciated the ability to turn off the pixel text because I find it very hard to read. Good work!
