Thanks for the continued interest. I have "addressed" the issue of field 39 by adding a bit of a path around the North end of the ditch, but that is actually how it is in real life, I don't get it either! :D

I have also updated the FS25 version to remove the deco grass and replace with normal grass. I think this will resolve the issues you encountered with the painting and so on.

I'm going to submit to Giants for a release in FS25, and if it fails I'll release on here instead.

Soooo. Big update.... Fen Edge is in testing for FS25 following some conversion work to make it better than ever before. Hopefully I will be able to get it through modhub testing at some point as well, but for now it'll be released on Itch.io when it's ready.

Hiya, thanks for the interest. I'm contemplating bringing Fen Edge to FS25, but to do so I think will require a fairly sizeable rebuild almost from the ground up due to changes in the engine and map making. The good news is I've been working on tools to do that in Houdini, which will shorten the process. I do however have another map in progress at the moment which I think is going to take priority - it's much more undulating and interesting terrain. Fen Edge I think suffered because while a decent replica of the real life area, it's a relatively flat area and that seems to be not what players are looking for.

It's taken quite some time, but I've managed to fix the fence placement issue and it'll be included in the next update. Just trying to solve a few other niggles as well.

Thanks, I will figure it out eventually as it's bugging me. It definitely worked at one point as I used it to add many of the fences/hedges you can see!

Hi ducky, apologies, yes this appears to have been the case and something which didn't show up in testing unfortunately. I will be uploading a version update on Wednesday which will resolve the issue. It may then require some adjustment to the savegame placeables file, that will depend on individual circumstances and I'm more than willing to help work through those issues. 

Not sure why you wouldn't be able to open in GE, however the update I'm working on now will allow you to sell *some* of the placeables on the farmyards, other buildings are not set up as placeables sadly and would need GE.

Why you should add the mod as a dependency rather than just use the shed in the map? There's a few reasons (and these aren't specifically for you, just the way it's "done" afaik).

• If the mod's a dependency, then if it gets updated for a fix or something then the players get the update rather than you then having to update the map to make the same change.
• If it's a dependency you don't need to faff around worrying about crediting and remembering who's objects you used
• It reduces the size of the map
• It means that the original mod author gets new downloads on modhub.

I'm glad you've found a resolution. I have been stumped by what was happening, I did wonder whether you had enough RAM for a 4x map.

If you want to use my grain sheds you're free to do so, as long as they're included as a required mod and not directly incorporated into the map. Just add them as placeables and you'll be fine.

OK, the only time I've seen errors regarding missing sugar beet textures has been with a mod. Can you post your entire logfile?

Sorry to hear that. Presumably you're using the required mods? Is there anything in the logfile?

I'm sorry to say I'm completely out of my depth here. I was half expecting you to say you were playing with 1 or 2 GB RAM but clearly 8GB should be enough. Can you ping me a link to your full log file? Use something like pastebin and copy the full thing?

That doesn't look good. What sort of spec machine are you running this on?

Hi, there's nothing in the map that would be touching vehicle specialisations, this looks like a mod conflict of some description.
