Hi Emiel Boven,

First of all, thank you for DURF — I’m really excited to try it out.

I’m quite new to tabletop RPGs, and I’m planning to run DURF with a small group of three people total: two players and myself as the Game Master. I wanted to ask for your advice on how best to balance adventures for two-player parties.

In particular, I’d love to know:

- Are there any recommended guidelines for encounter difficulty or danger level for just two-player groups?

- Should I adjust the number of enemies, enemy stats, or the frequency of rest and resources?

- Are there specific DURF mechanics that work especially well (or that you would tweak) for two-player parties?

- Do you have any example adventures or suggestions for designing scenarios that suit a two-player group?

Any advice or pointers you can share would be greatly appreciated. I’m really looking forward to running DURF for my group!

Best regards,

Valentino
