Great game, and the leaderboard was an awesome idea too

Great game! I really like the concept — it's super fun. It does get a bit repetitive with only 2 shapes, but I totally get that you probably did what you could within the time limit. Nice job!

Thanks a lot! I'm really glad you liked it 🙏 You're totally right — I wanted to add some variety like enemies with more HP (some needing 2 hits to die), just to give it more life and challenge. Sadly I ran out of time, but I'm happy it still felt fun!

Thanks

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you liked the idea! 😊 I know the game isn't perfect, so any feedback or suggestions would really help me improve.

I originally made the game with Godot, but I wasn't familiar with the export process, so I ran into a lot of issues. After 3 hours of trying, I decided to recreate the game in Construct 3.
The original version took me 1 hour and 31 minutes to make in Godot. In Construct 3, it took me 1 hour, 12 minutes, and 28 seconds to recreate the exact same game — I didn't add anything new.
I'm not counting the Godot time as part of my development time for this jam, so my official submission time is 1 hour, 12 minutes, and 28 seconds.

I'm planning to participate in this jam, and I want to make sure I'm playing fair.

Is there a preferred way to prove that I only used 60 minutes to make my game? Should I record my screen, take screenshots with timestamps, or is it just based on trust?

You nailed the theme, the music and vibe are amazing, and the gameplay’s really fun to dive into.
For a second game jam, it’s a bold move — and you totally made it work. Hope you win this one!
