Wasn't sure how I won, but I did. Nonetheless, it's the most technically impressive game I've played!

That was the plot twist of the decade!

Stunning realism!

Fun risk management reward system!

Kid friendly but also a mature story about the dangers of gambling addiction!

It was a journey to fart my way up to the top!

Thank you so much for playing!

Thank you for playing!

Still looking if anyone interested

I haven't been a composer for a jam before so I want to try it. I've been making music for a long time and I'm 1st place winner of Impressions Composing Jam #2 https://itch.io/jam/impressions-composing-jam-ost-2/rate/3380970

If you want to view my work here's my soundcloud:

I really like to make orchestral music and I can also do ambient music and I've been really wanting to make some horror tracks, I got the tools needed.

If interested please send friend request on discord @real2lazy

Wow, I didn't expect it to sound like that at all. So many things you've done here are super well done. The way the songs change and evolve from one mood to another is what separates your submission from everyone else's, and it's help by the fact everything has such good dynamics that transitions sound seamless.

One thing that stood out to me and I could be absolutely wrong, is that I heard electric guitars in track 4. I think how you used them (if you even did) was super masterful: they didn't stand out but they accentuated the violins and the brass and just gave them a more edgier tone, which is really how I think you should use electric guitars in orchestra.

I think a lot of consideration was put into overall loudness of each instrument and you knew how to blend everything together. This was an awesome submission.

I liked it, it sounded like JRPG music. The woodwind shorts are a bit too loud, and I think you could've gone in a different direction is track 3 as it sounded a bit similar to the previous track. Overall it was decent composition, good job

Thank you, I used the cinematic studio libraries and cineperc

Excellent compositions. Sound like you know how each instrument is used especially woodwinds, and just overall knowledge of how to blend different sounds. Dynamics is are also done well which is not common to hear. I enjoyed listening to it all throughout, well done

Probably the most unique submission I've heard. You used only two instruments but each song felt unique. You did a pretty good job at combining them and I heard a proper flow of tension throughout the tracks, nice work.

I think the orchestration is pretty good. The main issue I have with it is the string are constantly playing loud. You should have started quieter, build everything up to a climax, bring it back down then build it back up with woodwind and low string sustains. Other than that it's a solid song.

Still looking if anyone still interested

Don't worry you'll get better, keep practicing!

Sorry I sent you a friend request but you probably thought I was spam. I'm looking for a good writer for an action adventure game who can describe things very well and I like your work. Can I resend my invite?

Looking for a portrait artist who can draw similar to stock RPGMV style. I'm fairly familiar with RPGMV and I'm planning on making a turn-based adventure game with light RPG elements. If interested please message me on discord @real2lazy with your work and thank you!

It kind of reminds me of Jeremy Soule. Some of the parts sounded mushy and could have been done with a legato patch, and I think it could have used a bit more dynamics as well. Overall though I think it's a pretty good album.

The first two tracks really needed some bass I think, and the last track I wished it sounded like the other two. Overall good job, nice guitaring/drumming if it's really you.

I think it's extremely well done, the orchestration. I don't think there was a single part that I felt dragged on or felt boring, it sounded very well-paced. My only criticism would be to make the melodies just a little louder as they sounded a little drowned out in some areas. Also, I don't mind the MIDI sound at all, I think you used what you had perfectly.

I think it's an impressive number of tracks. We Are Warriors is probably my favorite. I think it needs a little reverb especially for the flutes and drums because they got a little grating. You used some tritones which I think fit in some songs but in track 4 I think it doesn't fit well with the guitars over it. I also think some of the tracks got repetitive so just try to switch up the voicings of the melodies or play a bridge or a different verse before repeating it. Nonetheless you should feel proud of this!

Thanks for the review! The choir VST is Chorus from Audio Imperia

I have been coder and programmer in several gamejams now so this time I would like the musician role.

I enjoy making music that is strong and memorable. I always try to make a really good melody and theme.

Genres I have most experience in:

  • Classical
  • Rock/metal
  • Ambient

Thank you for playing friend!

Return to the room with the photo album and open it, you will find a gem. Then after you found all the gems, go to the room with the steel walls and floor and do the puzzle on the wall.

Looks like you're more than qualified to be the game programmer. If you'd like a composer, I'd like to work with you. Lately I've been making a lot of metal/rock stuff in FL.

Need someone to help with level layout and simple scripting. If you're interested DM me on discord @real2lazy

I mostly do orchestral/ambient stuff. If you need someone to do electronic or chiptune music then I'm probably not the guy.

Very cool, sounded like a movie trailer!

Very nice orchestration and emotions, great job!

You are definitely a skilled musician, this is very impressive!

Interesting build up, is that you playing the piano?

Love the retro inspiration, my favorite is track 5

Cool ethnic sound, also good use of dynamics!

Excellent deep sound! Reminds me of FF6 music. Glides without sounding repetitive, great mix of different types of synths and instruments

Interesting chord progressions!
