Based take. I didn't leave a comment on your game, but I honestly thought it was really good! Call me a conspiracist but I highly believe the top entries were rigged. I think your game has a lot of potential despite what misleading reviews say.

Love ninja-themed games, so I like the direction it is going in. Not bad for a prototype! Although I was kinda clueless in the battle sequence as I wasn't sure what to press or click.

Whoever did the art deserves a raise. Very charming! The storyline is great as well! It's cool to see games that don't take their plot too seriously.

Wasn't expecting it to start off as a 'game inside a game', very unique concept! The gameplay takes a little while to build up but the concept is very commendable.

Visuals were pretty trippy. Has its own unique charm to it. Storyline is pretty good too!

Damn, this was really well made! First off: love how the camera follows the player in a cinematic manner. The pixel postprocessing effect is a very cool visual spectacle. Platforming challenges are pretty fun! It could use some polish (such as more animations for the player) but overall, VERY solid game!

First Wild West game I've seen in this jam. Very unique! Great level design.

Great map design! Love the ominous eyeball. For your very first video game this is a really good start!

the music and sound effects complement each other very well and are very fitting in a game like this! So much emotion is conveyed. Well done.

Getting big Fears to Fathom vibes from this. Very well done!

Makes me want to drink lots of milk and grow big and strong.

Pretty fun game! I like the upgrades system and the attacks. The visuals remind me of old-school Runescape which is pretty cool

Could use some sound effects to really sell the immersion, but the puzzle platforming provided quite a good challenge!

Thank you for the thorough feedback! The checkpoint placements and the general spike mechanics are pretty punishing, you're right; I'll definitely be rebalancing them if I ever expand this game in the future. And yes, I did produce all the music in the game.

Amazing concept! The gameplay heavily reminds me of playing the Clue board games. The simplistic character designs are also very charming.

Love the concept! Some levels seemed a bit 'thrown together' graphically speaking, but the platforming is pretty solid!

The presentation is very well done! Platforming is solid and levels are well-designed. I can definitely see some vague inspiration from Animal Well.

I can tell there was a lot of inspiration from the Slenderman games.  The map is well-built, and the suspense is pretty nerve-wracking. Nice work!

Damn, the visuals are EXTREMELY well done! I found the exploration and just seeing the different setpieces to be the coolest part, not to mention trying to locate all the notes, which was pretty fun.

Very good use of the theme! At first, I thought I was supposed to place the props at the top and then realized they appear when you die, which is very clever.  The simplistic art style looks great for this type of game, but the background could benefit from being more complex if you ever plan on expanding the concept.

The humor is off the charts. Very well done. Those dogs in the background are aura farming.

Didn't realize I'd be using past bodies as platforms. That caught me off guard and its very clever! The collision detection is a bit wonky at places, but the concepts made up for it.

Not bad for little coding experience! The humor is very well done and the concept is very unique.

Really good concept! The art and the ambient music really complement each other. Took me a bit to get used to the controls but was pretty neat nonetheless.

Fellow GameMaker user, very nice! The art style is very unique! Could be more attack combinations if you ever plan on expanding it.

Drop a link to your submission and I'll give you a positive rating and constructive feedback if you'd like! I'm pretty quick with playing through and critically analyzing games so it shouldn't take me that long.

Would much appreciate if anyone wanted to give my game a rating and feedback! You definitely don't have to play the entire thing if you don't want! :

The 1-bit visuals and RPG vibe are a nice touch! Always cool to see devs impose an artificial limitation.

Hey GamerLibra!  I'll definitely try to tune in.

Hey Onna, you seem pretty passionate about what you do and that is exactly what people like me are looking for. I was wondering if your team was in need of a music composer? I have plenty of samples to show for if needed. I tried to friend request you on discord but I think I got the wrong account? My disc is graysonrie if you are interested.
