Hahaha no worries it happens when you have such a short amount of time to make a whole game!

Sure thing <3

Great game, really!

The graphics are super cute, and the same goes for the music and effects.

The gameplay feels very satisfying, even if it's quite challenging!

Honestly, for your first jam project, this is impressive, my own first jam game wasn't nearly as good as this! haha.

Huge congrats, really well done! :)

Really fun little game!

The gameplay is definitely the strongest component here.

I like how you approached the jam's limitation, even if it felt a bit simple.

One thing I noticed is the balancing, the player has a ton of health! I finished the game with 99,500 HP left out of 100,000, so I only lost about 0.5%.

Plus, the player's attacks deal so much damage that the poor enemies didn't stand a chance!

Regardless, it’s a very entertaining mini-game.

Nice work! :)

Great job, really nice game! It has just the right amount of juiciness to make it super addictive.

The music, visuals, and sound effects are all excellent.

In terms of gameplay, I would’ve loved to see a bit more complexity, but it’s still a very entertaining mini-game regardless.

Congrats again on the solid work!

Btw got 28.130 points! :)

Awesome job!

The game is super intuitive, and I love how quickly I was able to get into the loop.

The music fits perfectly, and those sound effects for the miners dying are hilarious!

Using the background for the UI was a brilliant move.

Congrats on a great submission!

Thank you so much for the detailed feedback!

I’m really glad the atmosphere and lighting worked for you.

You're totally right about the bugs and the balancing, 24 hours wasn't quite enough to polish all those details!

As for the future, I’m not sure if I’ll continue development yet since the jam was such a huge rush, but I had a blast making it.

Thanks for playing until the end!

Thank you! I really appreciate it. Sorry about the struggle at the end, the exit can be a bit tricky! I'm glad you had fun with it regardless. Thanks for playing!

Thank you! It's built with Godot 4.6.2.

I've been using Godot for a couple of years now, and it’s been amazing to see how far the engine has come! It’s definitely getting better and better for 3D.

Thanks! Yeah, game balance wasn't exactly my top priority given the short timeframe, but I’m really glad you stuck with it and finished the game. Great job on getting those tricky crystals! <3

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Actually, I’m not American, I’m from Italy! I just felt that planting a flag on the moon was such an iconic moment in human history that I had to include it. I really appreciate the feedback, thanks again! <3

Thank you for playing!

I agree, the controls could definitely use more polishing. I reworked the movement system pretty late and didn’t have enough time to properly test it, which ended up making things worse.

Moral of the story: don’t change things at the last minute, lmao.

Very cool game, a bit difficult and made me rage sometimes but very good nonetheless! <3

First time: my eyes
Second time: it’s harder than it looks
Third time: okay, I’m starting to get the hang of it

N times later: okay, I need to stop now

hahaha, you’ve got a really nice addictive arcade game here, great job! 😊

Very cute little game, its aesthetics is definitely great strong point!

Wow amazing game hahahah, the atmosphere is perfect, the hand drawn monsters look beautiful and sounds and dialogues are also very well done, don't really have any feedbacks to be honest, it's a simple game but very amusing!

Very cool concept! I've never played a game in which you can freely talk with NPCs, that's a neat feature, maybe the player has a bit too much control?

I am not able to proceed after knowing that Flad's son is with the frog gang I can't get how to unlock new areas unfortunately :(

Thank you, if you manage to win you will see the end winning screen which I've worked on for quite a bit tbh, hope you like it!

Thank you for playing! I don't know when you tried the game but at first I had the bird flying up with SPACE and flying down with CTRL, the issue is that CTRL+W closes the current active tab on browser, so there was this bug that sometimes you would accidentally close the game, the latest build has the flying up and down buttons on Q and E so it should be fixed.

Thank you for playing, nice suggestion I would but I think we can't update projects anymore during the voting period can't we?

A little bit repetitive even if there are several different foods with different effects, this said the gameplay feels satisfying and it's easy to understand!

Great job!

Thank you for trying the game and for the comment! <3

Wow this looks amazing and has a really great concept, would love to see more!

The graphics are simple but feel so special.

Great work!

Thank you for your comment and for playing the game!

Yes it was my first time trying to create a full 3D game with assets and textures, I also was surprised by the size of the game

Thank you for the feedbacks!

Wonderful game I enjoyed it a lot, honestly the only feedbacks I can give is to add more monster parts and maybe some bosses during the battles like every 5 stages have a stage with a boss it could have a bigger model and more stats, that would be amazing, also maybe have more complex monster parts like things with passives and such things! Great work it's a great foundation to keep working on if you are invested into the project!

Very unique and amazing game, the concept is so good, I have a few feedbacks tho

It feels a bit frustrating when your towers kill an enemy and you want to go pick up the eyes (because they expire so fast) but you are not able to pick them because your own towers will kill you or the enemies hit box will hit you and kill you, so I would suggest to make the eyes get instantly absorbed by the player so your focus is to dodge the towers bullets, even tho I understand that maybe things could get too easy, you could consider the idea of having multiple unique towers

Another thing I'd like to say is the amount of times I used spacebar to travel and accidentally dashed above a tower placement spot and summoned a tower even if I didn't want to! The idea of having the player summoning towers by dashing on them it's very cool, maybe you can have another button combined with the dash so that you don't accidentally summon a tower when you don't want to!

Other than that congrats the game feels amazing and fun to play!

Wow this game has so much content and it looks amazing, personally I found it very difficult to get souls, I think enemies only gave 1 soul right? At the start it feels pretty rough to get things going, maybe I missed something I don't know, but overall the it seems like a very good project to keep working on!

Great job!

Unfortunately I joined the jam late so I really didn't have enough time to make the game the way I intended It to be, I managed to publish the game like 10 minutes before the end of the jam

I tried to make a web build but unfortunately the game files were to big and therefore I had to build and push a windows version

Thank you for playing and taking some time to write this review!

Thank you for the comment!

At the moment the game only has 1 ending, you can see a little cut scene if you manage to escape the fridge and run towards the street!

Thank you for playing!

Thank you for playing!

I am sorry that the game was laggy to you, that's my bad for starting so late during the jam :(

Quite an interesting little game here, the theme of the theft is really used in a peculiar way, even for a little game like this the atmosphere is well done and made me hesitate and pick the last decision carefully.

Great job!

Thank you very much for playing my game, hope you had fun!

First of all thank you for playing my game!

Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to make a tutorial, but if you read the description you will find out the different commands for the game, with TAB you switch to the rat controls, with him if you managed to make the spectators reach the green level of attention you can steal their money by going near them and pressing E.

Also if you are not able to identify the color of the Hat you can see it in the bottom left corner of the screen!

Yes I am sorry but for this jam I wanted to try something new, if you still want to give a shot you can run the game multiple times (twice for example) and on 1 instance you can host the server on localhost (so Just press host server) and on the other instance you can press join server to localhost and then start the game on the one hosting and you should be fine

Thank you anyway for writing a comment 🙏❤️

Thank you for trying my game!

I am sorry you found it difficult to play with the shovel but I understand and agree that the hitbox to hit enemies could have used a bit of resizing.

Have you tried buying just potato seeds the first few days? You can find an easy example of a good strategy in the video trailer for the game, but yeah having a weaker long range weapon like a simple bow for example would have been much better, I had ideas for several new items and weapons but unfortunately didn't have time to develop them.

Thank you very much for the kind words and the feedback!

Solving the well thought puzzle was actually the most enjoying part of the game! I am lucky since my native country it's exactly the one in the picture!

Really an enjoying experience, good job!
