You are not the only one. I feel like we're given a couple of very genuine characters. MC reacts to situations exactly the way typical humans would react, and Amicus reacts, in a lot of places, exactly in the ways his alien race is presented to us in the story. Though, he is certainly a kind wolf too.

.....How. In. The. Literal. Fffffrigg... Does this mc remind you of "Geoffrey Baratheon"?!

(...Then again, I chose Infinity, not Oblivion. That may be the difference, HOWEVER I doubt!!! *raises finger with authority*)

To liken this character to Geoffrey is like saying, 'I dislike people who've been kidnapped because they are sadistic little king tyrants.' (LUDICROUS!!!) There are NO similarities between the two, character wise or situationally.
