i played it, the use of sounds is really unique. Reminds me of old 2010 browser games vibes

Thank you, troutmaster. This is the first game jam entry of our team. I'd love to credit our sound designer for that, soundbyJEK, because he made those phenomenal trash collection sounds. :D Thanks to him, we made our vision of a satisfying cleaning game possible. You can check out his creations here: https://soundbyjek.github.io/portfolio/
Thank you for hosting this game jam! If it weren't for you, our team won't be formed. We added a dialog reference in the game for appreciation, which was the "dark bear plushie on sale" dialog option. We're looking forward to add more as we expand the game even further. I'm happy you liked our entry. :>
Thank you for the feedback! :) We're reconsidering the use of UI switching, and adding a tutorial scene to the game. We had to cut some features in the development of the jam entry to emphasize the personalities of the NPCs without breaking immersion, but we didn't realize it would lead to falling short on gameplay direction. Thanks for letting us know!
OMG, thank you for this! We've spent sleepless nights on it, and I'm glad you liked it. It's not perfect for the moment, and we're looking forward to develop it more thanks to everyone's feedback. The resource appearing on the player's head is genuinely a very creative idea, and we didn't think of it in the time of the development of the game. It will be implemented in the future, I'll let the team know about this.
I REALLY LOVE THE OLD MAN INTERACTION. I kinda wish the main character's personality is a bit more consistent, and interactions gave more meaning to the objects the npcs give to the player. This is a personal preference, but I wish there were some directions on what to draw, because I feel uncomfortable from the freedom the game offers. I know I'm not the target audience for this types of games, but I can tell for a fact that the art style are phenomenal. For those who want to make a better art from this game, you can roll your mouse scroll bar to rotate the brush.
The art style and the cozy environment sends me back to nostalgia on y8 games. The music selection matches the vibe really well, and my favorite part of this game are the cute hand-drawn assets. It was a fun experience and I wish there were more content to get to know the family better. I think this would go really well if there were some dialogs to the family, other tasks rather than just going up, an audio playback whenever the player jumps, parallax background, and the use of sprite animations rather than just still images. Reading the credits and seeing your appreciation to the people that supported this project is the most uplifting part for me. I cant help but smile to how wholesome this jam entry is.

I like this game. I see there's a lot of mechanics put into it. I wish those mechanics were more pushed to the limits in the levels, kind of like you HAVE to play with the mechanics to finish the level (like the speed boost). The boss fight in the end is a good addition, but the controls are pretty all over the place.
This one is very deep. It presents a unique view to life, encompassing self-worth, loneliness, and outgrowing the experiences we used to have. The hand drawn illustrations set the atmosphere really well. It's a very uplifting view to see loneliness as something we can embrace than as something we just avoid. The only things I hate in this entry are the flowers on the meadows. Overall, pleasant experience.
I love the art assets made in this game. The morse code mechanic is an interesting take. The music of this game is one of the most uplifting ones among the game jam entries. The attention to detail on the waves hitting the rocks, dolphins jumping out of nowhere, and the reflection on the boats makes feels nice, and how you've approached to add those features makes the game really uplifting. My only negative take on this entry is I dislike how you can only guide one ship at a time, making the other ships emit their loud signal noises. I think if you can guide multiple ships at once, that would be pretty satisfying. It would place the player to a decision on whether they shall guide more ships to advance the game faster but risk bumping into more rocks, or just guide one ship at a time to play safe if there's too many rocks.
Cute short game. The leaning of the boat is a really nice touch. The gameplay is really simple, you hold down or S, then you move left and right to make the anchor go longer. Never saw a game mechanic like this. Other than the fact that alarm clock is really loud, this is a solid and creative game by design. I can see it being successful with more feature additions. This can become a roguelike or an incremental game. Love it

Peak story telling. The simple artstyle and unpredictable narrative of this game fits together to give off the meme energy it intend to create. This is phenomenal for a first game. I've had genuine fun on this one. This is my favorite jam entry so far. If you ever got stuck in the same place I did, you can put down items in the starting island.
The concept of introducing different shell types is a very creative approach to the theme Ocean. The gameplay on PC works well as an aim trainer. The waves delivering more shells is an interesting level of attention to detail. I also love how you added mobile support to the game, because I believe this game is more suited in that platform. I got to collect 3 shiny shells in my playthrough. Pretty proud that in my first swipe, I got a shiny. This game has a lot of potential as an incremental game, with a correct addition of narrative and an interactable "alive" npc. Items in the shop can be expanded as well, like increase sand clearing radius, click collection area radius, a pet that roams around to clear the sand or collect shells for you.

I managed to get all the shells in world 1 and have 1200g, but had to drop it 8 minutes later, as the progression felt too slow for my taste.
I finished the game. I've had fun on this one. :) This has a lot of potential to be an educational game in letting people know what type of wastes belong to which type of bins. There's a only one bug I've encountered, where if the player picks a level other than level one, the wastes don't spawn. But you can get around it by restarting the level. Overall, the difficulty curve makes it really enjoyable. I had to lock in for the last level. Lol
