Thank you! I'm happy that the journey came across as I had intended.

thanks!  getting the textures to sound unique was a big effort so I'm glad to hear people enjoyed it.

Thanks!

Thank you for the feedback. I'm glad you liked A Curious Spirit; it's one of those tracks that kinda just came together in one sitting and I'm pretty happy with how catchy it is.

Thanks for listening! That record detail was a last-minute idea and I'm glad it gave the right impression. The only other Gamelan-esque tracks I could think of from OSTs were Faron Wetlands from Zelda EoW and Battle Palace from Pokemon RSE - maybe those are what you're thinking of?

Thank you - it took a lot of trouble to get the atmosphere right, especially with the gamelan tracks. Glad it's coming across as intended.

Thank you! I'm really keen to explore more of this style of music so it's really great to hear that others are enjoying it too.

Aw thanks! I really enjoyed working with these sounds so would definitely be keen to do more with it in the future.

The atmosphere in the opening is really strong. Love the way you brought both fear and awe out while keeping things from feeling stale. The sound design is really well done throughout the whole OST. Nice Job!

Thanks! It was one of those tracks that just put itself together. Had a lot of fun on that one.

Thanks! Yea I'd like the gamelan to play alongside the gameplay. Would definitely like to expand on that opening piano piece.

The jazz harmonies and groove in 'Old Town by the Coast' and 'Haunted Island Boardwalk' aren't overwhelming but are really quite tight and impressive - I think it shows a lot of skill to get it sounding so comfortable and naturally groovey! 'Creature from the Water' feels chaotic as intended but I think it was a little tough to listen to it - the dissonance is quite long.  'By the Shore at Dusk' and 'Ferry Ride' are great at keeping all the ambient textures fresh and still moving.

The unique tunings in the harmonies are amazing. I love the pauses in Repose and how it helps the listener really digest each element of the track. I think that you do a good job expanding on the main motif and riffing off it with countermelodies (especially in One Summer Night) but since most of the tracks are very ambient/looping it would be nice to add more key motifs interacting with each-other. The drop in Apotheosis is my favourite part - just as the detuning starts to feel too disorienting everything comes together in this scary but composed way. Nice job!

I really like the bird sounds and the combination of synths in 'that cloud looks like a whale'. I think it could benefit from some added texture, maybe some filters fading in and out? I can hear some panning but longer form variation in the sound might help create the ambience you're looking for. 'Quest for purpose' has a good dance groove and solid melody. A tight bass line might make it even more groovy. The atmosphere and vibe between both tracks feel both nostalgic and determined which is pretty neat.

I really like how tight and well put together the harmonies are. I do think the vibe changes in each track would benefit from more time to develop, though. The clarity and quality of the sound from the instruments is also really impressive! What software did you use?
