Overall a very cool game. While the movement and abilities feel a bit slow and I got lost a few times in the huge levels, using the abilities did become fun after getting the hang of it. Especially that mortar attack.

What stands out to me the most is the visuals. The levels and enemies fit well into the overall design. But the best part has got to be the character. Probably my favorite out of all the entries I've played. Huge ears + huge mortars is peak character design.


Now this is a good concept. I'm a huge fan of the minimalist controls. Its very smooth to play with well thought puzzles and creative ways to use abilities. Just top execution overalll.

The game mechanics could use some more polish and explanation. When fighting I wasn't sure when I was hitting enemies or how much health I had. The environment might be a bit too minimalist.

But I love Minimami! That character is a very good take on the theme. The emotions look very smooth. The jump charge might be very simple but it fits very well.

First time I've seen fog of war in a metroidvania and a crouching square :D

Theme-wise this might be the closest you can get to minimalst with an artstyle. Some sound effects might have been nice but the platforming parts were very good. The colors made it obvious what you were supposed to touch and what to avoid.

This section broke me.

Really cool art style and and music. I feel like the abilities could use a bit more explanation but once I got the hang of it, moving around became really fun.

Also glad to hear you liked the character. We spent way too much time modelling and doing animations since we both had to learn blender first x)
