Maybe this isn't a bug, but it really feels non-intuitive.
I do have the correct socket (SPOILER) the one hiding behind the vise. But it won't let me attach it to the bolt on the panel because "I can't turn it by hand", and if I try using the rooter, it complains that I haven't installed the socket. And no amount of clicking between the two solves this problem. I'm at a loss... which seems silly for such a "simple" puzzle.
