god this game rules. the book definitely has a few issues with organization, but once you figure out the rhythm it's spectacular fun to play. i ran a short campaign of it a few years ago and it stuck in my head so thoroughly that i'm hacking it for an interlude in my ongoing beam saber campaign. at the time i mentioned in a discord server that i couldn't figure out a good solution for character sheets, and a friend of the author's messaged them on my behalf and then days later sent me a google doc character sheet. i'm detectordie fan #1, this shit kicks ass.

spent all christmas reading this. about 2/3s thru i said to a friend it felt like ingesting something very sweet and toxic, which made the antifreeze bit very satisfying
porpentine, one lifetime ago, in 2015, i read your work and it pulled something raw and wet out of me that ultimately made me better. i'd be a very different woman without it. it's only fair that you now get to make me worse ^_^
this game is fun as hell, some rly enjoyable prompts here. i will say, the rules are pretty confusingly laid out and it took abt an hour to piece together how play is actually conducted. nevertheless had a good time playing a pair of scifi imperialist soldiers who didn't want to admit how much they wanted a father-daughter relationship. they're twice as good at killing innocents now that they've confessed that to each other. good stuff, might need another pass at the layout.
