i'm sorry to hear that, it's very sad to hear that your game won't be submitted! It looks so silly and i can't wait to see all the hats you added when you will publish it, but i won't lie i felt relief when i saw your post, because i'm in the same situation right now, i'm definetly not making it in time, and it's almost midnight where i live right now :(. You're not alone, and good luck on your project!

I just got into learning how to make games a few months ago, and didn't know what to do on my birthday, and then saw that this jam will be held in that time frame and thought why not make it my first! So here i am, after a family celebration, drawing and coding away on my bday :D

You could wear a whole colony of ants as a hat!

ducks are heavier than rats so they may be more uncomfortable to wear as hats, but sure why not! Ducks))

as a hat enthusiast and a rat, i sugest adding a classic top hat, you can't go wrong with that, or just put a rat on his head! It doubles as both a hat and a companion! :)
