And might I say poor Oswin ;-;, like maaan is my mc stressing him tf out and then big reveal! oml what this man is being put through alongside us is crazy. And I can't imagine how our fathers are going to feel, one moment it's a curse, an artifact and then bam a complete slap to the face. (also Aster why man, why, we had a good thing going)

Oh, this story already piques my interest! Even right now, the characters are really well developed, and I can really feel the emotions of each one. The Nanny and the Guard characters are definitely my favorites so far. And I can't wait for more, as well as learning how the heir comes to be as a person :)
The only improvements I really noticed are some very minor typos, instances where the gender is incorrect (I'm guessing the default is for the heir to be a girl?), and a small section where a paragraph repeats itself before the baby's gender reveal.
Overall, this is a great start to a fun interactive fiction piece!
